I saw the Astral Nexus (astralnexus.com) site on the ad banner above the 'Psi World Main Site' link... I have the site open right now and it seems terrible, all of their so called 'definitions' are from Wikipedia. They also have 'Binaural Brainwave Entertainment', which is actually 20minute-long 'musical'pieces (No I havent downloaded any but by the looks of it, I wont be in a hurry to)... 0_o
Anyway, I suggest you don't go to this site if you want to look for definitions or stuff like that... =P

Not for Psionics. The definitions on there are just from what people THINK are right. But there are alot of things that aren't right, and need to be corrected.

what makes the definitions bad is not so much the content, but the lack of personal knowledge of the terms and the lack of caring. It's easy to go copy and paste something from another site, but it's hard to write it yourself, using your own thoughts and ideas. Also, the definitions use a lot of other terms that don't explain anything and will confuse a reader who is new to the subject. It's like reading a dictionary when you only know a few words. You end up having to look up every single word, just to understand one term.

I think it should be something that THEY know, because it's probably right, and it should be alot more simpler, but not too simple. Not something so complex that a genius could only understand, but, something that the average person would get interested in. |
