yes it is deadly, but there are a few times like wanting to know the answer to a question you just asked to a friend won't harm anyone.

I agree with JediKaren. If it is about like...did I get an A on that test today or something, sure go ahead. But, if your asking more extreme serious questions, then I would normally be against it.

in my opinion it is not the knowledge that is deadly, it is your reaction to it. Choose not to react untill you are confident, in the prediction and in your abilities, and then it depends on whether you decide to take extreme actions, or to take action in a slow, organized and calm fashion. If you have no idea what the future holds, then your lack of prediction could cause as much trouble.

Doesn't the future change anyway? Well atleast with big things. Like if you see yourself getting killed by a car or something you could always whip out a 9mm and shot yourself in the face to prove the future wrong.

hey rainman, i think something would stop you from doing that, if it's a set thing. if an infallible prophet told you how you'd die, that's how you'd die. if you got a gun, i'm thinking that you'd convince yourself to stay alive, or someone would stop you, or the gun wouldn't work.
if the future is really foretold, then everything will work towards it. the cars on the street, pedestrians, birds, clouds, anything that was seen in the vision.

Ok pillz how about this. You see yourself getting killed in a car crash in your Ford Focus. The next day you obviously don't want that car anymore so you get rid of your Ford Focus and get a different car. The point here is, the future is in your own hands.

yeah, i could see it, just as i could dream living in a paper house, or something. but if it's a bona fide prophecy, not just a scary thought, it'll have to happen.
i kinda wanna bring God into this. He's omniscient, right? So if he knows your gonna eat chicken instead of beef, then by golly, that's what you'll eat. Same thing as what I'm saying about real prophecies.

When one see's the future they see one of many that could, would or may happen. The future is ALWAYS in motion, sometimes thoses that see the future get a hit, others its off. The future depends on serval things. Example the choices you choose to make at any given moment will effect your future as will the actions you take to thing. Seeing the future is not a perfect art and because the future is always in motion always changing, shaping and re changing it's self it hard to say. If you all keep talking about it... it may change into a heated topic where no one will be right. The past is the past, the future is there future, we should be focuing on the here and now for that is the most important thing of all. Whats happening now is what matters. Don't try and change the future it changes itself.

ok you see your death by car accident the next day, you decide to walk and get hit, you take the bus and it gets hit, you stay at home the car comes through the wall.
the point is that upon seeing the future you try to avoid it but you can make it worse raqther than better.
