I always called it astral projection. Anyway, Out of Body Experience is too long of a phrase for me.

I had never come across Astral Planing as a verb before, but it's quicker and easier to say than Out Of Body Experience, so I'll go with AP. Hopefully I'll get to experience it one day! (must get back to trying to feel psi...)

it's astral projecting. "planing" is slang, but even I say it sometimes.

AP usually means going on the astral plane, while an OOBE is while you're on this one, just not in your own bod.

this plane is part of the collection of planes called the Astral Well then I mean traversing the higher planes; those above this one, as AP. And staying level on this one is an OOBE, because that's all it is, you leaving your body... you're not really breaking any barriers other than the one keeping you in. though i've never heard of this physical plane being called the astral, though... i'm pretty sure it's not
