I was one of the least popular people all through school until my final year and then everyone suddenly decided to be friendly to me. That was slightly weird but I wasn't about to stop them.

See, I do not understand that. Maybe thats at your school but you didnt have to do anything big or bad to be popular.

-Popular by Good Personality

-Popular by Lack of Money or Race
[If you where rich and white you were normally popular. If you where poor and black you where normally popular. If you where asian, you were either At the top or at the Bottom. No asian was in the middle.]
Average Group
-The "Middle Class"
Popular people would talk to you, and so would the lower 'classes'
-The "Geeks"
Now, there were two types of geeks
The Popular Geeks
The Unpopular Geeks
Yes, there were popular geeks in our school.
The unpopular geeks where the ones who made fun of other for there "lower intelect" or just annoyed people.

Thats basiclly how it worked.
It was 25%Popular, 60% Avg, 15% Unpopular Geeks and/or Nerds

Jedikaren, I guess the things you have to do to be popular where the people popular by fear.
Though the Fear thing did take up a large percentage of popular people, you didnt have to do anything "bad" to be popular.

I was actually rather popular for the last year. Then I got so darn bored with all the idiots around me that I started ignoring them. I don't really enjoy people very much, I'm just nice to them, and hence-- they like me.

i am not popular at all, i used to be the queen of jokes whn i am in my high school.Now , at college i am not popular at all.But i like it this way, i avoid getting popular by keeping a low profile in college and also invisible sheilding so less people notice me.Howver , i don't go chasing for my college frenz....they come to me instead.Then i think whther should i go hang out with them.

Besides i hate being popular in my life.UNWANTED ATTENTION AND IF you DO SUMTHING WRONG EVERYONE KNOWS.I learnt tht if you are too popular..... even small mistakes people notice -_-.So now i keep a low profile in my small city cause in my city, everyone knows everyone .So no privacy.-_-, so i rather not be popular.I always use invisible sheild.

Please use the edit button instead of double-posting. In addition, please try to use proper punctuation. It makes it quite hard to read if you have a period and then immediately start another sentence without any spacing. Using large amounts of words in capslock will also tend to annoy people, so you may want to avoid doing that.

I was somewhat popular when I was in middle and high school, everyone knew me and I was kind of a popular. But I was also sort of a nerd too... Some popularity is better then none though.

I am. But in the same manner I am an outcast, if that makes any sense. A lot of people know me and like me. But that doesn't make them friends. Mostly because I am and have always been really selective on who I count as my friends. That is why I removed how to contact me from this site, because everyone kept adding me....I am still away half the time, but that is just me. I talk when I want to.
