My log begins yesterday, since that's when I got involved with psi. I shall be updating with a new post every day, with edits in the day's post for any developments.
Day 1 (Yesterday): I have begun to actually feel psi. I've felt it before, of course, but without any purpose or focus, so my previous feelings of psi are vague at best. This time, with a definite purpose and some idea of what I was doing, I made an attempt at moving around my psi.
The sensation can be best described as "deliciously warm and slightly squishy." I know, I just have a way with words.
Anyway, I've discovered that with concentration, I'm capable of moving my psi throughout my body and have attempted to get it through my entire body. Its medium of choice appears to be my bones, and it seems very reluctant to leave them. However, with some coaxing I managed to work it through my hands in an attempt at a psi ball. There was definitely something there. My hands began to burn a bit, you see, and when eventually I stopped the tingling and heat remained for several tens of minutes afterwards. It did not feel like a psi ball, however--it felt more like a beam of sorts, a fat cylinder connecting my hands. In an attempt to move it into a ball shape, I tried again. It came easier this time, and I manipulated that beam. It was forming into a ball, and then a random thought popped into my head for seemingly no reason at all. And then my psi ball felt like a diamond shape.
That was very odd, I thought, so I thought, hey, so long as I'm no longer doing psiballs, let's try something more complicated... So I imagined a camera in the top of the diamond, discovered I could see nothing through it, and attempted connecting a line to it. Again, nothing. I wasn't too disturbed by this, since I'm rather new and probably shouldn't be attempting that in the first place, so then I killed it. Or rather, it killed itself. Whichever visualization you prefer, really.
I wasn't done yet, of course, not by a long shot. For some reason I suddenly had the rather insane idea of... doing... something... with the house. Like a 'walls have ears' kinda thing. I thought I'd try what I've read on Linking, but doing it with the house rather than a person. Except, rather than the old 'thread of psi,' this thing was a thick ol' tube of machinery with complicated inner workings and the like that came out of my head and slammed itself into the wall with an imaginary 'thud.' My eyes were closed here, and I experienced many flashes and funky grayscale kaleidoscopic images. Entirely within my own head, I know because my younger brother would have noticed such flashes. Then the tube of machinery rotated, pulled itself back, and disappeared into my head.
I'm fairly good at the visualizations, as you can see.
I thought I'd try one more thing before I finished for the day, so I took my psi and flattened it. Into a square. I'm into the origami thing, you see, and I thought I might try folding my psi into something useful. My hands folded it into the shape of a fortune teller, also called a 'cootie catcher' by some, but I much prefer the idea of telling the future to catching imaginary bugs. I used the following combination, then: 2, blue, 2. I lifted the flap and had a brief sensation of... well, you know how it looks and sounds when you take a big stack of paper and riffle through it? That. Afterwards there was the impression of a pointy man (I'm fairly certain the pointy man is a product of my imagination, but I figure I shouldn't leave things out, no matter how utterly paranoid I sound) and then that was it for my adventures with psi that day.
