Ok im still not sure on this but when you guys ap is that like what happens when you die.Since its your sprit/soul/etc leaveing your body?Has any one confirmed this?
If this goes aginst any rules just take it down.

I say yes... (although I've never experienced death first hand)...I have experienced Astral Projection first hand. I have no evidence to back up my answer. Sorry.
I can say this though.. if AP is like death. The only thing that is different is that you have a vessle to return to. When you're dead, you don't have a vessle to live in.

When you AP, you still have the body's invisible connection with the soul. But when you die, and die for good, this connection is finally severed, and a new spiritual world is unlocked for you. New understanding and experiences. You add to the Whole.
You know how in NDE's people are told that it's not yet their time? That's because the link hasn't been broken, and it's not supposed to be broken yet. They're still chained to this plane.

Well, I think that you can't communicate by AP'ing, but with seances and mediums and the like, maybe. But I'm not really sure about that, either, because they're gone. Just gone, like a drop in the ocean, dissipated into the All. Perhaps it's higher consciousness beings choosing those forms to make NDE's calming.

I think you can talk to the dead, but I think that the dead either forget their past lives (Highly unlikily I think) or most of 'em are scattered through out differnet planes as well as temples. We also can't forget the ones who get promoted to "winged" status. I'm betting that those types have their own temples or planes.
As for the where do you go when you are dead part, I agrea with Pillz, but im think you would be sent to a special plane or something like that.
Here's a thinker too, what about the whole heaven and hell thing. I used to be a believer of that but now im thinking that there is just one single place where people go.

I believe that there is one destination: the afterlife.
Heaven and Hell describe how you'll handle it. Or more accurately, how your soul/consciousness will. If you're in tune with the rest of the Collective, then it'll be fine, but if you're not, if there's some kind of taint to your soul, then it'll be tougher for you, or you might even be unable to experience it's full glory.
But whatever way you go, I believe you'll lose something. Individuality, maybe... free will, almost definitely. You surrender yourself to the natural laws of death and your soul's relation to all others at the moment of your croaking.

Like the others have said, when you die the link connecting your spirit to your body is broken. The astral plane is located in the 5th demension. when you die you go to an even higher demension. im pretty sure you can talk to deseased people from the astral plane. there is a chance however that the person you want to talk to is reincarnated(if you believe in that,i do.)

I always asumed that most people in psionic websits such as this, understood that the sub-c was another person. Well, of course, that's just an assumption, but does anyone else agree? I mean, Karen DID, after all, experience this knowledge first hand. I learned something simialar way before I started APing to other planes, and probably about 4 months before I found this site... go figure |
