I'll respond, yes they can have it. Sorry for not getting a chance to respond. Spirit Guides are smart, otherwise they wouldn't be guiding a person in the first place.
One of my Spirit Guides, Anael, she's pretty and a little serious, but she has a 'light' personality and she is generally very cheerful. I don't get to work with her often, but when I do, it is a wonderful rewarding experience. Another of them is Sephiriel. You can call him my main Spirit Guide. He's extremely serious and he also takes care of me a lot. He helps me to make sure my charkas, my energy, that it's all well balanced. One of the Spirit Guides I have is the grandfather I never met and he sure is a 'wise butt.' He likes to crack jokes and such and is cheerful, he can be serious when need to be...

*moans* Grrr... I want to meet my spirit guides. *kicks himself* With school, and drivers ed, I havn't been practicing as much as I should, but I'm going to pick up on it more today, starting with TK. From today on, I'm gonna try my best to devote all my free time to practicing.

Don't overdo yourself, limptaco. A person needs some free time to relax. I practiced all of the time last year, but it wasn't as fun as it should have been. If you practice in moderation, it'll be more enjoyable.

No that's not the problem. I'll wait to meet the guide when it's time. The problem is too much stuff to do. School, homework, Drivers ed. That takes my whole day on most days, so in essence...bleh. But spring break is either like 1 or 2 weeks away. So I'll be doing alot then.

That's why it makes it easier to hear it when you need to. The Theosophical theory is that spirit guides are "perfected spirits," having once been alive and gone through an immensely long cycle of lives. These spirits then stay in the astral to help others along the path to "perfection." At any rate, even if most of that is garbage, assume that guides were once alive. In that case, I'd say they would have personalities. Some of my metaphysically-inclined friends say that their guides have warped senses of humor, so there's a personality for you. ^_^
