Some times you get predisposed to see the indigo aura... I used to... But now I realize my aura is Electric blue. Not indigo, and that's just the way it is. Anyway it's just a term... It's not like you're something special. After reading and reading, I've read a lot of criticism. I can say that some people that are predisposed to be on that term confuse arrogance with Indigo children. Not to discourage anyone here. I believe Inidgo children is a good term to capture all those kids but it isn't like a new race or anything, they are just people with certain characteristics... Some of them not so good to tell you the truth... I imagine people being jerks and arrogant and citing their aura as a reason why would really irritate people. It's already getting on my nerves. Not to say any names. Like fullmetal or cu... Yes that's exactly what I think, is just like a excuse for arrogant and irritating people to avoid being told wrong... Really if they were supposed to be here to fix the world they wouldn't be arrogant but the exact opposite... Anyway... I used to consider myself one but not anymore. I don't like arrogant people... and being or not being Indigo isn't like a "get out of jail" card to be one... But just my two cetns... Because really almost every person I know that called themselves Indigo was just really well... annoying...

I really love how you guys apply the term "they are psions." When it really isn't. When I first did my research a while ago on them, there is nothing about them being psions. Psyhiss would be a better term for it. There are still some Indigos being born. The children being born are Crystal. But I'm the third type, Rainbow.I thought Crystal was another movement all together...I have also never heard of Rainbow. Is it like an older movement past Indigo? I know it can't be younger that Crystal because that's happening right now.

It's complicated, but it's safe to say, I guess, that I wasn't supposed to be born yet o.0; It's much younger, Rainbow is supposed to be coming next, though from what I've heard, the whole thing about Crystal Children should be slowing down or so, I know people who are titled "Crystal" who are in their teens. That's what I learned though, Rainbow should just be beginning to happen. But the whole thing is, I wonder if it is just meant to make people feel special or something.

Just a label... At least in my point of view...

Just a label... At least in my point of view... Mmhmm. Yet at the same time, if it can be used to not make people feel extra special or something, like it brings an extra understanding to who you are, that is good. Like the whole thing with otherkin. I consider myself 'otherkin' in fact, I consider myself a celestial/angel (still not sure on which entire one but that is fine with me). It's not a label for me. It is something that has brought a deeper grasp about myself. Just like the whole Rainbow thing and when I read about being Highly Sensitive. It should humble, it should teach, it shouldn't put someone on a pedestal. I actually know a cancer survivor that instead of being humbled, she put herself on a pedestal.

Yeah, I know that in essence it was created to have a purpose, to serve as a good thing... but i think that as people start using it, (like almost everything human kind touches) it gets corrupted and then it loses purpose... So a thing that in principle should be good it's not so good in the practical every day life... I think that's what happens, with indigo, crystal and other labels or situations that instead of making you a better person just make you arrogant. It's a shame really that they lose the real meaning but it's just what usually happens.

Still at times, I am glad it is out there, because less of us would have an deeper idea of who we are if we did not. You get what I mean ?

Yes, I think I get what you mean, because also if it weren't for Indigo I wouldn't have found about psi, so for that I'm thankful, I just wished that it really served its original purpose you know? I'm sick of the (a lot really) people saying "Oh I'm indigo, I'm much better than everyone else, I'm the savior of humankind... when a lot of the times they are not indigo and even when they are they are just so unbelieveable annoying I just wished for them to disappear. Again, it may not be the case for everyone but it happens...

Again, it may not be the case for everyone but it happens... It does. And again, it is human nature. People want to be special. Especially younger people, around 14 or so. It generally edges away as they begin to see, it really isn't all what it seems cracked up to be, so they believe. In a way, someone was affended by the fact that Otherkin was a subculture. Though I don't understand. In a way, whether you are Indigo, Budhist, Psionic, or Otherkin, it is a way of life, of living.
