I've been wondering if there is a type of spirit "guide" that would want to actually harm their subject. Because one of the ones I met with had tried to get me to Hate family and nearly caused my depression to act up, which as most of my family knows would know might have caused me to commit suicide, however I can't hurt my self so It didn't completely work but I'm worried he might have went to another person.( Haven't seen him in six months), But he had a rotten personality.  P.S. New guide hasn't been to helpful only tells me what to do not how!  |

I don't think that your spirit guide would want to hurt you.....It was probally a demon or just a spirit that was atracted to you

nope. Guides don't harm you. And that isn't a guide.

Maybe it was your guide, maybe it was trying to help you in a way that can't be easily conveyed in writing. But if it was going to hurt you then it's not a guide. But remember guides can have personalitys that can seem mean. One of my guides is sarcastic and quick to fight. On top of that he loves fighting. Even though he has a strong passion for fighting, it NEVER I never get harmed because of his actions, and probably never will. Guides are not stupid, they do know what can they can do to hurt you but none ever do.

Pardon my slight deviation from the topic at hand, but what exactly is a "spirit guide" or "demon" according to the terms to which you all are referring? For what I understand, the idea of demons/spirits is largely a religious view, rather than an element of psi activity.
What is and what does a "spirit/demon" do? I have guessed the purpose of a "spirit guide," my question here lays more on the general type of "spirit" or "demon."

spirit guide - a guide that helps you out, (also known as gaurdian angel, spirit guide, etc, etc...) I think it is your subconscious that is the guide, and so do quite a few others too.
demons - people say demon but a better and more logical way to think of it is a spirit that want's to hurt you. They are very uncommon. I've been practicing psi for the last 5 years and have never met one. Many newbies say demon when refering to harmful entities because relgion is so prevelent in society.
Just remember this is a note: 95% of the stuff that goes on here has no religious meaning.

Okay. I still find it difficult to believe - I dare be such a heretic here - a large portion of what I see posted on this site. Demons and/or spirits are one of those. But, at any rate, it's something to think about I suppose.
