Any idea on what this could be: Whenever a strong spiritual entity approaches or gets near me, this buzz in my head fades, then instantly gets intense. Then I feel a pressure all around my body. It's different than sensing energy.

Dont stress on it,usually this is just a strong entity's energy you are feeling and it causes these effects because your body isnt used to it.it is feeling the energy of a stronger entity/spirit.

What Brandon said was probably right, although buzzing when you feel something strong is kinda weird. You could shield to stop it if you want.

Well anybody know where the buzz I hear comes from? I hear it day and night 24/7. I can focus in on it to hear better.

I hear it as well, but I feel the pressure around my head. It comes around at least 4 times a week. I can't really say if its at all related to energy. In some cases it is, but not always (at least thats been the case for me). Usually though it doesn't work that way for me for just entities. It works like that for precog, telepathy, anything receptive mainly; anything dealing with sensitivity.
It might just be that your sensitivity is developing (if these incidents are related to psionics in any way).

hmm I agree with XP to an extend. That's usually not the normal signs of a spirit, but can be associated with a spirit. Sometimes we are more aware of energy than others or feel different strengths of energy. Anyway, I would keep my eyes open, but do not focus or worry about it too much. If you focus on it too much, you'll end up convincing yourself of signs that aren't signs. Let us know if anything more happens.
