does anybody know what they are actually called?
you know, horses with the mane and tail made of fire?
like ponyta and rapidash from pokemon. its this cartoon idea im toying around with, but i dont know what that specie of horse is called

aww, oh well mabey we can name them. what do you propose? the species if found so far are horse, pegasus, unicorn, winged unicorn, seahorse (like a mermaid horse), and kirin (scaly japanese unicorn with the horn pointing up) i also found the firehorse on the ponyisland website: www.ponyisland.net/index.php?src=manual&sub=breeds, they call them valkyrie. i searched it in google (with "horse" beside it) and found stuff about women on wigned horses, and the horses turn out to be wolves hmm, made we can just call them fire horses, or mix it, like "forse" |

Umm you do realize that psionics is not based on little anime shows. infact if you think about it most anime shows with there "powers" are based off of psionics just multiplied. but for your question I can't find anything on them but a valkryie or whatever does sound familiar maybe it was from a video game i've played eh who knows lol

And a valkeryie isn't a horse.
And a kirin is actually 'giraffe' in Japanese.

Ah. Why can't we just call fire horses fire horses? Why can't we just call things that are simple, simple names. Like, calling a rose a rose, instead of that huge 40 word name science gives it. >.<

well, never knew about that meep. i read that kirins are a cross between a horse and a dragon. even on deviant art, if you type in kirin, thats what youll see
oh, and for elecctronic's answer about the anime thing.
well, martial arts deal with energy. and most anime is based on fighting. so it kinda goes
well, here was what i was toying around with. it was first a doll idea but then it grew:
i guess that girls like to comb their dolls hair, and then seeing them comb the ponies tails in a "my little pony" advert. i though, barbie meets my little pony.
a centaur
so she can comb doll hair and tail hair.
then i thought about a boy's line. with a bunch of centaur warriors.
and then combine the two in a show or something. so youll have the men of the village that go out and fight and the women that stay home and comb their hair.
then the unicorn, pegasus, and others came in.
there are even donkey and zebra centaur. (winged, unicorn zebra?)
