I do not think you can smell a spirit since smell would usually have to be alive unless it was the smell of a spark or somthing.

That running up the staircase feeling could be one of 3 things in my opinion.
1- Spirit
2- Basements are underground, sometimes people feel a bad presence when under the earth's soil. Reasons could be in beliefs or just because of burials.
3- Your scaring your self. Even if you do not think it, somewhere your scaring your self. This could be related to either 1 or 2 but could just be fear.

I know a few people who say that they can smell spirts, so I put that there, though I am not sure how it would work. Most common that I know of is just getting the feeling of being watched.

Well when I'm like alone in my house and i feel like I'm being watched or fallowed my (i guess you can say) "therian side" takes over, kind of odd though

The strangest thing just happened just now, i felt something touch the back of my head and then something that felt like a bunch of energy just lept into it and is in there still, SOMEONE HELP ME!?

I always get the feeling that i'm being watched, mainly when i'm on the computer or in my bed at night, also when i'm on the computer i can hear something moving near me and when i'm at school i see shadows out of the corner of my eye that either move at the same speed as a human walking or dissapear when i try to look at them properly.

Actually, people have smelled spirits before. Like how a person who loved their grandmother can still sometimes smell her perfume even a few miles away and it isn't made anymore. It has happened to me once.

I have had this kind of experience. I have felt two hands push me. They were like physical hands. No one behind me could've pushed me like that because they were all holding their books in two hands, and they were like ice. I could still feel the coldness a few minutes after that.

I do also get that wierd feeling that I am being watched. I was in a wal-mart and the section I was in was completely empty. I could feel this thing following me. I heard a tap and looked back and there was nothing. No people were around.

And that basement thing, I get the feeling that there is something there. I always run up the stairs because as soon as I touch the stairs I get this feeling that something is coming to get me, so I run and don't look back.

Must be something with the spirits and basements. New meaning to skeletons in your closet.

yeah the presence that i've been seeing at my school has been seen without me saying anything about it by my brothers friend in grade 3.

I have been told that I used to talk to a spirit that was a head. No feet, hands, legs, arms or torso. Just a head. He stays in the upstairs hallway, but he died of a heart attack in the living room downstairs. Can anyone at all explain this to me?

well my 7th grade teacher said that when her mom died she could smell her perfume at certain places.i always feel like i am being watched on our stairs too.and my stepdad said a man was watching him and my mom while they slept:O
little kids have been seen in our house but the way i see it no need to be scared if they havent done anything to you.
BTW i have that watched felling when i am alone and i can see our kitchen in our T.V. I keep thinking maybe someone will pop outD_D
