So you are saying send it away then.I mean if you split the consciousness all you will do is make more of them.

Lordrye, If you find a broken consciousness, which is dying from lack of energy, yes, you could salvage it, but you would have to repair the damage to its mind, so it won't go crazy and try to harm anything once it has energy again.
And Brandonslau, I am saying that energy and consciousness are separate, but can be changed into each other. You separate the energy from the consciousness, but the consciousness is still singular. It starves from the lack of energy, and consumes itself to stay alive a bit longer.

So you're saying there is absolute death, spilledchemicals? That out of desperation you pick from yourself to sustain yourself until there is no more.
This is a very good answer, spilled, but it raises a few new question. If the consciousness consists of energy then what is consciousness if not but a bundle of energy?
Can it be separated from this definition and described in terms we understand, or is it beyond our ability to explain?
Where does energy end, and consciousness start?

Consciousness is just a bundle of energy. But is is energy which has the ability to create its own purposes. Energy fuels independent thought, and independent thought in turn gives energy purpose.
