Does anyone have any information on the effects of injuries, specifically head injuries, causing someone to gain precognitive abilities?

It wouldn't surprise me. Consider, for example, the lots of old stories of people who lost their sight but in turn gained soothsaying abilities.

I wouldn't say that it is common for head injuries to cause an increased memory. It's not very common at all. However head injuries can in very rare cases lead to savant syndrome. Which encompasses many strange abilities, the abilities however aren't paranormal rather just allow the person to have a better memory or perform other spectacular mental feats. There was that movie with John Travolta where he had the brain tumour that gave him Telekinetic abilities.

I watched a segment on UEM(Unexplained Mysteries), the show was called Incredible Psychics or something like that. Well this woman ran into a tree in a car accident and I believe she hit her head and cracked her neck. And when she woke, she had noticed she is clairvoyant now. =DD There you are. And usually if it's an accident there is a bump on the head or so that leads you to having such abilities. I doubt if you fall and break your arm you will start to communicate with spirits(if so it rarely happens o.0).
