Do psi abilities like precognition run down family lines?

Because on mymom's side there is my aunt, and my dad has a long family line including himself, so if they passed down does the ability get stronger.

I would say to both. I would say it can be a genetic thing. Like sometimes a person can carry on genes threw their child that was passed on similar to the level of ability of the and as time passes it progresses so that's what I wou0ld say. But yes to both questions.

Well think of your genetics or look it up if you don't know them. Precog can pass or not through family members. The ability can get stronger or weaker while being passed down, but there is not law or set pattern that says it must pass down or get stronger.

It could be that the environment they were in made them more sensitive to psi and thus grew up with the ability of precog. I myself am a natural precog but no one in my family to my knowledge has any experience with psi.

EDIT: Sorry I just contradicted myself, I don't get along with my family and stayed as far away from their interests as I could. Since my family sticks to conventional logic I delved more into Metaphysical stuff which maybe the reason for my psi abilities.

They could get stronger, or they could be the same. I think my abilities might have passed along from my mom's side. But as for what parent, I really do not know. I think it was my grandpa because my grandmother does not show any signs of it. My mother has latent abilities, but she was never "encouraged" like me. While it is a possibility, it would not be foolproof. I am sure that sometimes it skips generations, or maybe someone could possibly be an odd ball out, you know? It depends sometimes upon how one is "encouraged" about their abilites and such.
