Due to a strong and good requestion here is the Article board.
*pauses for cheers*
This board is for everyone to write articles, long, short, well done or not and have them posted here for all to view. Anything may be writen about. You'll see me post a lot of Jedi related articles. I ask that you keep the comments positive or neutral. If you have a problem with the content, then pm the person and not post it on the forum.
You need to let us now if you
1) want this to be posted on the main site
2) would like constructive comments, meaning comments that help you improve your article.
If you want to do a ranting article, that's fine, but understand rants don't always come off well.
Please enjoy this section.

if we make good articles, will they have a chance of being posted on the main site's articles section?
and is it proper 'etiquette' to reply to an article?
I mean you can't reply to an article on the main site...

Sure, I guess. This won't be anything formal. Consider this section as a test article section.

Of course it'll be okay for people to reply. If you didn't want replies, you'd try to get the article directly to JediKaren, so it could be posted on the main site.
To post in a messageboard, you need to expect other people's input on it.

... you didn't even want to see it before I fixed it... time to wake up =p (actually english is my second language, mine first is zombie-eeze =p) Anyhoo, thanks for the new section, I'm looking forward to reading some more articles by new authors =) you said to let you know if you wanted to have the article posted main site, I aksed the wrong question  I was wanting to know if it was assumed that if you posted an article, that you wanted it up. (more or less if I write an article, I'd rather be anonomous) [edit] should we make requests in here, or leave them elsewhere? |

If the article is well written, with something new to say, yes I would like them, but I will contact the author privately to let them know this. They can choose to give me the article or not.
