I cannot believe it. It's...I just can't. You know how some people just fill out applications to big school like Harvard just to see what will happen? Well, that's what I did and guess what? I just got an email from the admissions office there asking me to set up an interview with them! I'm shocked (I never thought I'd get my application past the first round of reviews or whatever they have) and I'm terrified. I don't want to go that far away from home and I already have a full ride set up with a small university here. UGH. You're all probably saying "What the matter with you? it's HARVARD!" Well...I know, it's Harvard, but...I don't know, I never considered myself at the level (acedemically) that I would even be considered. I'm going to go lock myself in my room and scream now.

talk with your parents. Let them know. Don't make this decision alone.

I think JK is right. You should think about what you want out of your degree, what you want to do, and how you want to get there. Will going to Harvard make a huge difference in the end, or will it be more pressure than it is worth? I don't know. I've seen too many people go to SUNY colleges up here and transfer out to a comm. college because it was too much pressure. Not that I think you shouldn't do it... just be prepared. xD
congratulations ;D

You might visit both colleges and see which one feels right. I had to been to three, but the one I'm going to now is the one that felt right. The moment I saw the college, I was impressed and felt like I was at home already. Consider size, courses, degrees, the people (where they are from, race, gender, age, seriousness of the work), the area around the college, the campus, dorm rooms, food, and so on. That is what helped me figure what college to go to.

(looks up at JK's post) True true, but I got a scholarship to quite a good school once (don't want to sound snobby or anything but anyway); I went there and it was really big, rich and etc being a private school, but when I started there, everybody who went there seemed to be dumb rich bitches, so I left to go to a government selective school... Anyway, yesh, my new school was waay better and stuff. I suppose you won't have any rich bitches at Harvard (if you get it, that is, and good luck in getting in =O ) because you have to use your brain to get in, rather than just pay a huge wad of money. =P Yesh, I'm rambling, as per usual
