I have very vivid dreams, so usually i can remember color, numbers, faces actions and communication..Now i can not always remember every detail, but for the most part i do fairly well/
You could write down your dream of what you can retain Why? To help you to learn if there is a regular pattern in your dreams and understanding what the subconscious mind may be holding within. What you need to do for lucid dreaming is...When you go to go to sleep is tell your self you are going to focus on your dream. You dream all the time and you just are one who doesn't recall. I would try to sleep in a quiet room, Sometimes i will not recall a dream i had until a few hours later for some reason. And sometimes i can not recall everything.. so if i take the time to think about it, somethings come together. I am not of too much help for you here...but let me know how you make out?

Okay Think you for sharing with me and I can remember some of my dream colors and the activity that happen in my dreams and I can remember people faces yes.The subconscious is very cool cause once I had a dream I was walking up the stairs from the mall with a friend that I just meet and I seen this crowd of people near the steps and I can remember each step I took. Then I met this boy name anthony and at the mall and we did the same exact thing as in my dream I was so shocked and I knew it was him but I kept it to my self and I remember the faces that was in the crowed.^_*
okay when you get good at all these will it just come to you and you control your dream???
or how do you actually control your dream when you don't dream or when you do dream??

I don't think you're able to fully control the dreams since that is a part of your subconscious, what Lucid Dreaming does, if I'm not mistaken, is that the person with the lucid dream is able to be conscious during the dreams and interact a little, although not control them for what I've heard.
Lucid Dreaming as far as I know is just a tool into getting to know better your subconscious. You will have full awareness and knowledge and will awake remembering almost the entire thing, although something is lost along the way I believe.
I hope I made myself clear, I have been trying for some time to lucid dream without improvement, so I hope you succeed where I failed.

writing down your dreams helps you remember dreams better
why would lucid dreaming help you...it can help you AP and have a fun night life
to lucid dream you need to remember your dreams, there are many ways to lucid dream but what i like to do is that every time your going to sleep when your falling asleep wake yourself up just enough to keep you awake and keep doing that soon you will fall asleep without even knowing and thats good, soon you will take some of your conscious with you when you fall asleep and in the dream you will realize that your dreaming....Then for the final step you gotta stay calm if you get excited you can wake yourself up.

i very rarely lucid dream, but the last time I had one it was triggered by the fact that one of my friend's was right there, and i knew that I haven't seem him in months, which was weird, so i figured I must be dreaming. Sometime later in the dream, I was flying over cars North towards downtown Chicago on Lakeshore Drive, and I tried blowing up a building, knowing that it wouldn't hurt anybody because i was dreaming. When i tried to blow it up, there was no explosion, but a giant glowing pink neon heart. i was very confused.

I can remember things up to the, "WDF JUST HAPPENED" moments. Which happen alot. I know I'm dreaming all the time, but usually don't alter my dreams UNLESS something bad was going to happen to me, but I've never accually woken myself up from a dream, and if i try, the dream goes on and on, and doesn't stop.

Exactly. I have crazy dreams, but i've never tried blowing something up. It sounds like alot of fun. But, never-the-less, my dreams are really crazy. I'm watching my dreams from a third person view, i'm not there, i'm killing someone(strangely fun). But, next time i try lucid dreaming i'll just pull out a bomb from my pocket and.... *evil laugh*
