*sighs*
I honestly hate them. They haunt me, scare me, ruin my sleep, put me to tears, cause even more stress and more nightmares. I had one this afternoon when taking a nap. While I rather not go into the details again, I will say that I haven't one since I got to college and I know why I'm having it.
Nightmares generally tell people their worries, their fears, even if the person isn't conscious of the fear. My fear is the fact that I come for a week, in a week. I don't want to go home. I don't want to be around my parents. My parents cause the same or more amount of stress that college causes, and I'm so stressed from college, I'm half dying to get home, yet I don't want to be locked away in that house again. Arg. I hate abusive, controlling parents.
Well, that's my little rant/lesson for today about nightmares.

Ah, wonderful things, nightmares. Even better when they are precogs... Tis how I almost went insane years ago.

I used to have constant nightmares, I never have nightmares anymore, I'm not sure exactly why, except for the fact, that fear hasn't bothered me for a long time.
I don't fear many things anymore.

Fear isn't real. Only YOU can create it for yourself and only YOU can stop it.

I never have nightmares, they are often a sign of stress. Although last night I had a dream I got attacked by a linx >.<

Fear is of the mind, once there is no fear, you can do anything. But everyone always has fear i think. Just forget about the nightmare. It took me a while to get over my, "Phantom comes and kills all friends and family then comes after me" nightmare.

Scary experiences, thoughts and stress induce nightmares.

i had a nightmare like dream a few days ago, all the kids where i live were in a big fight. and for some reason my cat was a commander, or at least these to kids who wanted to kill her. it was cool though i could talk to my cat with the ease of talking to a person. then i went to a really stupid fair with 2 baby rides. i don't get it either.

Ah, as to me also. If I'm not living reality, I'm living dreams. My dreams are my alternate, "Time to kill everyone I hate" kind of thing. Sometimes I don't, and sometimes I just like to watch dreams to see where they go. Probably 99/100 dreams I know I'm in them. If you think you're in a dream, just look for anything that you know COULD NOT ABSOLUTELY happen. Like, for instance, you were in a desolate place, when you live near the woods. Nightmares are horrible things, and I've had many.

It took me a while to get over my, "Phantom comes and kills all friends and family then comes after me" nightmare. I serverly disagree with you. With fear (e.g. pressure), humans can do anything (ah the wonders of adrenaline lol). Think about it. If you were attacked by someone, you would do anything that you can to stop yourself from dying/ being attacked/ etc.
