Last night I attempted to lucid dream. Now as I was falling asleep I kept telling myself I'm going to be dreaming, etc.
I then started to dream, and I knew I was dreaming but I still had no control. When I tried to control it, it became a nightmare. This happened multiple times during the night and I was up and down all night. And then finally one that wasn't a nightmare. I was walking around my primary school class room. I had full control over myself and was aware I was in a dream, I just couldn't organise my thoughts my brain was off of it's own accord.
It was like my brain was in control of me, but I couldn't control my brain.
So what do you guys think this is a lucid dream, or a pseudo-lucid dream?

It could be that you were lucid, but you weren't controlling dreams. To become lucid means to become aware. Once you get the hang of it, you'll realize it almost every time you dream. You also need to work on dream recall, if you aren't already. We have about 3-6 dreams every night, but it's stored in your short term memory, so you need to work on trying to remember them.

Yeah, could be. In one dream I tried to take control but I couldn't, almost as if I was dreaming about lucid dreaming. Weird.
Anyway I'm working on my dream recall, only problem is my short term memory sucks. I have really really good long term memory (photographic and the one where you remember everything you read) but I'm working on dream/short term memory.

Some dreams can be interative...some aren't.
In some lucid-dreams, you tend to take on the role of a Watcher...just observing.

yeah, you dont have to control them
must of mines are like video games, where you control the person but not the environment.
oh and lucid dreaming is easyer when you wake early and fall asleep in class or somewhere you shouldnt
