Have any of you guys used any electronic products such as the NovaDreamer to help you induce a lucid dream?? I'm really on the verge of being able to LD, i just need a little help recognizing the "signs" of being asleep, while dreaming. What do you think?

I haven't used that, but I do know that some products do replicate the frequencies that can put us into REM sleep, so I think it would be posible that such a product could help you achieve lucid dreaming, however you have to remember each body is different and what might work for others might not work for you.

Well, the NovaDreamer, from what i've read just kicks on when you fall into REM, and starts giving you flashing light signals to let you know in your dream your sleeping. It has an Infrared laser that shines on your eyes to determine when you've entered REM. Then it starts a series of light patterns to let you know you're sleeping. I was wonderin if anyone had actually tried it.

I somehow doubt that people here wouldn't have access to that kind of technology, then again, I might be proven wrong. How much does it cost: is it a normal, retail item or a lab thing?

No no this is a retail thing. I'm so surprised everyone hasn't heard about it. The company that makes it is in the process of making a new model so they've haulted sales right now. But the people that have used the older model claimed it works awesome. How it works >> www.youtube.com/watch?v=da4faVIbq24Official Website >> www.lucidity.com/novadreamer.htmlSupposedly it works. I mean the idea sounds plausible. It's just up to you whether or not you can train yourself to understand what the crazy flashing lights in your dreams mean lol.

I don't think it's really like it's YOU doing the psi work. It's like a mahcine doing it for you. Maybe if you used it regularly, your body might get used to it and your mind might start waking up without its help...I don't know what everyone's opinions are, but I would feel a bit like I wasn't really lucid dreaming by myself.
