I know, but that's what i'm saying. If it mutates, not nesicerrily would the H5N1 formula. But, I'm saying that we should have it so we can go ahead and have it in case we ever need it.

Well, just put everyone with the flu together and let them die lol... Better yet, kill all birds.

Ah, a better idea! But we would have to burn them to make sure they were all away. And people who love chicken and stuff would be angry. It might be impossible to kill ALL the birds, but how about kill all of them in africa/all contries/continents over there? That'll solve our problem.

No it wouldn't- it would make the problem worse. Two words: food chain.

But if the birds were off the face of the earth, then we wouldn't have to worry about it being eaten. If there were no birds left, we could be safe because the virus lives off birds. How would it affect the food chain? I mean, there are animals out there that eat birds, but they could also get a different food source if they needed to.

A) How the darn would you be able to kill all the bird on the planet? B) That's ridiculous. C) Hi, bird flu affects humans too. That's the problem.

A) We could try, it would be hard, it's possible though, by the smallest bit.
B) Depends, because if it comes down to it, we really don't have to have birds
C) I know that, but, if there are no more birds, therefore the bird flu cannot exist anymore. Even though there are humans with the Bird Flu, after that, there won't be anymore, unless somehow it mutates before we kill all the birds.

I was just kidding.
If you think your problems would be over, think about snakes and insects that would come to grow more and more due to the lack of birds to eat them. And all the animals that feed off birds would starve. You know the drill, it's a cycle. If you mess with anything you're going to get bitten anyway.

Cu, haven't you learnt about food chains/ life cycles in class?

Why do you think people have to be quarentined if they're suspected to have it? So that they don't cough on a chicken?

It doesn't always pass from human to human, and I know they are quarantined. Instead of though killing ALL of the birds, why not kill JUST the birds that had them, and quarantine all the people that have the bird flu.

Last I checked, you could not just check every single bird and human on earth without some missing the checks. And people will not be rounded up an quarantined, so thats out of the picture as well, at least without violence.

Wow i havn't heard anything about the bird flu in forever. But yes, it could mutate, and multiply until like everyone would be dead. Im sure scientists will find a cure for it sooner or later though.. hopefully.
