Some topics are emotionaly of course and that is what makes debates so great sometimes-it is what someone truly believes.

While I am not "religious" it should be more about "spiritual."

I think it is okay to be religious or spiritual. However, it is not acceptable if you try to force or scare other people into the belief system you have. While there is no good term for my spiritual path, I don't force anyone to follow my path. The people who I know from this Christian church my mom forced me to go to for a while, accepted that I wasn't Christian and didn't force me to do anything or believe anything. They just accepted. Of course they talked to me 'n stuff, but it wasn't like...saying "BELIEVE IN JESUS OR YOU SHALL GO TO HELL." >.> I appreciate that.

Though I have issues with Islam, like stabbing a girl to death in the night, for it is an honor killing because the woman slept with the man she was married to before they were married, it bugs me. But I don't have the right to impress upon them, this is wrong. It is their religion. But I don't believe they have the right to go killing others in the name of religion. I don't approve of the Crusades for that reason, or antisemitism for that reason. I know not all Muslims or like this, I even have a Muslim girl in my graphics class, and they are good. It is just when you get the extremists, is when it is bad. It's all good to be really into your spiritual path, but it is never acceptable to kill in it's name on other people just because they don't follow it, etc.

No, you gave questions wich we were ment to answer. A debate is a yes no. You should have given one statement of wich we are to debate, it stops alot of confusion.

My oppinion is that religions are a great thing, until you use them for supremacy (Crusades,Jihads, and the recent "For allah" actions we all have witnessed). Religion gives you a sense that in this torn society, where values are put down with money, where respect is none, someone will have a final word and make it right. It puts your mind at ease. Someone is watching over you and you'll be alright. I often wish I was religious, for i need that ease.

Honestly, I think someone had a great idea to set the world straight with the bible. If i met them , i'd praise them for their effort. But it didn't work out that well.

Someone said "fear hell or desire heaven" before, and that's what's wrong. You're not supposed to fear Hell or desire heaven to get into heaven. You can't do something thinking "This way i'll go to heaven". You need to do what you need to do, and if you're "clean" in the end you'll have your passage to that great place. That's just my view of it.

Now people, there should be no aggression here. The only thing you can say about other people is "I disaggree". Please stop all this hostility or you'll make this all void of meaning.

No. It is just questions to get you thinking. I have had debates that start out like that. You could potentially. And I am going to cut out anything else I was going to say.
