What makes psi, chi/qi the same? Just because they are energy? Energy is all over the place in different forms. Heat, potential energy, kinetic energy... just to name a few.
The video proves all the more that psi and chi/qi are different because when you generally use psi, you that amount of heat is not a side-effect. When you move chi/qi, most people talk about the side-effect as generally being warmth and heat.
There is also evidence to suggest that life force energy (chi/qi) is capable of prolonging life. There is no evidence to currently suggest that psi energy does the same. Actively practicing psi hasn't been shown to increase life expectancy and health. Those are my reasons for believing that psi and chi/qi are different. I believe that this conversation has been had somewhere on this site here before... let me look for it...

There is also a common side-effect of making a psi-ball and feeling warmth in between the hands...
