lol gee, you all are pretty shallow.
Ok, people tend to think that if a family is well off, the children will be happy, but my family is a perfect example of how that is completely wrong. Sure, we eat out once a week, we go on 4 or more trips a year, we eat good steak once a month, I can get any clothes I want, and so, yet at my house no one is terribly happy. My mom is legally blind and no amount of money is ever going to fix that. She's smokes, has poor health and drinks. Yet she eats well, has lot of spending money, can go anywhere she wants, but she's not happy. The same is true with me when I'm home. I get pretty much anything I want, within reason, yet I'm always dying to get out of there. Why? Because it's the way my family treats me. Money, in our home may gives us things that make us temporarily happy, but it is our personal relationships with each other that is long term and no one is happy.

Imagine, if on top of that you had to worry about supporting yourself or a child, or even feeding your family. Lack of money can add more stress in life, but some sociologists say that people with and without money feel about the same level of happiness. I'm an exception I'm always happy ;D

i think that money its self doesn't create happiness but the experinces it can create does. for example if you wanted to go camping in the wilderness all by your self for a long ammount of time. this could bring happiness because you dont have anyting to worrie about ( for the time being) and you can get intouch with your inner feelings. but the supplies for this trek would cost money. so indrictly money can create happness by rewarding you with experinces and accomplishments that would be almost impossible with out it.

It may indirectly create happiness but...to what extent of happiness are we talking? Genuine happiness? And to what audience are we directing this to? There are many superficial people who actually are genuinely happy because of money and there are people who prefer something less concrete that money can't buy. It all depends.

Money more often creates unhappiness than happiness. Look at half the people that win the lottery within a year they are broke, divorced and have lost everything they loved.
I know this sounds horrible but I know a man that this has happened too.

It depends on what happiness is. If you define it as getting whatever you want, then yes. I see it as this: When we die, all our money, everything we worked for, is gone. Why huddle it, when you should just have enough to satisfy you, and your needs? Money is just a material possession, and I wish there was nothing like that, because all it shows is how you like to have more than other people. I mean, having a little for your wants and needs is okay, but other than that, having 10mill+ is horrible.

True happiness comes from within......in other words we create happiness.
Contemplate on that a bit....

That is true, but some people have the satisfaction of having more money than everyone else. I wish there was never money, and everyone could have whatever they wanted.

ITs paper printed by the gov. Why dont they just print a whole bunch for everyone? Why because its a system, a very stupid one i might add.
Starving:
Why are there people starving around the world, the earth provides food for all....i dont understand this world.

Theres two types of Happiness True Happiness Material Happiness
True Happiness doent need money, just friends, family and love For example, I dont have alot of money. I am always happy, and I still get to do the things I love.
Material Happiness If lets say you always wanted to be out on the sea, you can buy a boat to fufill this dream and bring happiness but the True Happiness is from the experience of bieng out on the sea.

Money: ITs paper printed by the gov. Why dont they just print a whole bunch for everyone? Why because its a system, a very stupid one i might add. Apparently you don't know how economics works. If we just printed out money and gave it to people, inflation rates would soar, the currency would be devalued, and we'd be right back where we started from. Plus, our paper money is based on a gold standard. At any time, we can demand gold in return for our little green pieces of paper. That's what makes them worth something in the first place. If we just printed out money, we wouldn't be able to replace it with gold if necessary, and the money would be worth nothing because there's nothing backing it.
