Does Psi affect our relationship with God?

Okay, for those of you who do not believe in God, get out. NOW.

To those few of you who stayed, awesome. I have a question for you guys: If we use Psi, does it affect how God looks at us as human beings?

What if there's this power (Psi) and it can potentially change the physical world as we know it. What if Psi can literally demolish buildings and grow plants? Obviously not in these years, but much later on?

How do you think God would interpret that? Would He look at it and say "Oh no, I can't control these humans from using this unknown power, how about I darn them to Hell for trying to be equal to me?"

Or, He might say this: Okay, these people chose to use this power, and even though they have no idea what they can do with it, I will punish them anyway. However, being as merciful as I am, I will not darn them to Hell, but they won't come into Heaven either." What if God decided that there is no place for US after death? Just because we're using some awesome power?

Now onto the theory of "Where do we go/what happens after we die?" Well, there's always the Astral. Or we could roam the Earth as worthless ghosts, or some of us as poltergeists.

Keep in mind I'm not saying "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS!!!!" No, I'm just theorizing, and would like all of your views on it.

And I don't think it does, unless you try to be him. That's the only thing I don't like about people that think they are their own god.

Even better what if god is not truly invincible and almighty as everyone thinks he is. What if humans can challenge his own powers of creation? What if psi can EFFECT our god? Does god shield himself at all? Ah mysteries of the universe....

But I digress. What I have to say is thus: I think that God is an Observer. The Eternal Observer. He watches, takes not, and you know, I do not know if he actually created everything or not. I am still unsure.

But, and if I go off of my Christian teachings and heritage, the Bible states God as a merciful being, and he also gave us free will. I do not think he would punish those who use this power. I think if anything, he would punish those who MIS-use this power. Be it for vengeance, murder, stealing, whatever. It all depends on how you use it.
Unfortunately, I do realize that the terms "right" or "wrong", "use" and "mis-use" are all completely relative, but just know I'm speaking in terms of how those things are defined by the majority of Human existence and by what the Bible says.

I may be unsure of my belief in the Bible, but I do know that the moral code it (basically) sets on how to treat one another and how to live morally as a whole, is pretty good.

And MBSD, I'm sorry if I came off as "rude", I said "get out" to those who don't believe because I don't want any atheists coming in and saying "HAHA God doesn't exist anyway nooblol!" I'm trying to prevent that from happening, or something like it.

Anyway, here's another idea. WHAT IF our power (Psi) is of an angelic and/or demonic force? For example, those who use healing could be seen as using the angelic part of it, and those who use it recreationally are using the demonic side of it. I guess that can be related to what azaelius is saying.

Healing is not really affecting our relationship. It just speeds the healing process.

It would be different if we could put our hands on the dead, and they come to life. But that doesn't happen. If you are using psi for evil, and other energies also for evil purposes, then I suggest you stop, because psi is meant to be a energy to be used for you, and not to hurt people.

Well, there is one. I, and everyone has most likely talked to him, there are those who actually wait and listen. Some say there is none, but I know there is Him, and only Him.

If there was a god, I don't think that he would condemn people for simply using energies that he gave us to use. I'm pretty sure no holy book says anything like, "Oh, and no energy manipulating, psions!"
Though that would be amusing.

Well I too am forced to go to a church and participate in MYF events and such.

But in the bible Jesus/God said that if you truly believe, then you can achieve anything. Also, Jesus and his desciples healed many people, and there were some incredable 'psionic' feats done in the bible. Such as the manipulation of water into blood, a cane into a snake, mentioned of the holy spirit, floods, and loads of theoretically possible psionics.

Well, there is that. But I don't believe that was what it was. I believe it was Him, not just psionics, or even if it was psionics. And plus, he wouldn't give it to us, if we weren't supposed to have it.

BUT, there are some things in this world that were put here and probably didn't mean to, like drugs, and stuff like that.

How do you know some stuff was here by "accident"

What some may consider bad, is good by others.

For example, some drugs are frowned upon in some areas but are holy and sacred in others.
So I would never say something was here on accident, except the platypusl someone obviously had a hard night when creating the platypus.

If you believe or dont believe in God you should be able to put in your input
No one here can say with 100% certainty that God exists or doesn't exist.
If you think you do, you dont. You can never be 100% sure about anything at all.

Even though I believe in God and am a Christian as well, I see no problem with psi skills. I see it as yet one more discipline a person can learn to help others. Actually, The other day it occured to me that God probably would love it if we even borrowed His own personal Divine energy to experiment on and use for shielding, etc. just as a person could use the energy from the Sun, or the Universe.

I think God must shake his head at us humans in general, about how we don't bother to learn all that is out there regarding the good we can do with Energy He created all around us. For example, If everyone used Psi Skills to help heal this planet, there may not be any more Global warming, and the Polar Bears would stand a chance. Instead mankind keeps whining about how the Earth is going to Hell in a Handbasket, but the very things we can do to help heal are right in our reach.

Right now I am learning Reiki, -- another way of using Psi energy. During prayer, I felt inspired to put my hands on the Earth to help heal the planet. During meditation, I will visualize the entire planet and send energy out to different areas that need it.

Some of the areas I am trying to work on are Bangladesh, and the Oil Spill areas so far. .

God wil be the first to tell you that Before things can be manifested in the physical, they must be done in the invisible. This is what is meant by "On Earth as in Heaven".


A person could be in a car accident and paralyzed for life, and they could use psi skills to heal people and the planet . The options for healing never end.

A person can even use Psi skills as a sort of Quantum Touch on themselves to help heal their body mend itself.


So actually I totally believe Psi Skills used in a positive way to help where the opportunity presents itself are going to make God smile at you. Knowing about them , but being too lazy to bother to learn how to use them is going to make God kind of sad that we are growing stagnant as a human race.
