Can money buy happiness?I am wondering what the members on the site think. And does being 'happy' have a catch to it? When you have happiness do you think something bad is coming in shortly as a 'catch' to it all?

I think you meant "buy" not "but"

Yes, it can. However, it only works that way for certain types of people. I am not one of those people.

if you let your happiness depend on something, then, be it money or something else, how can you be truly happy if you are worried whether it is there to keep you happy? Not clinging onto things is the key to happiness.

I think money can help you be happy. Like say you want to travel...traveling makes you happy. Well, you need money to travel right? I mean, money doesn't equal happiness, but I think that it can help achieve happiness if you get what I mean. However, the best things in life are free, (IE Love) and a truly happy person knows that. So I think that if you are a happy person, you can use money to help you in your endeavors, but you aren't consumed by the goal of making money. Okay...I'm rambling...

You know people keep saying that it doesn't buy you happiness but I would love to have a lot of money to find out.
