What is the source of all the psychic/psionic abilities?Why do you think people are born with them?Where do you think they came from..If you think god/deity gave them to us why do you think god/deity gave them to us?What started it all. I just wanted your opinions. Since I can't make a poll for this because I have no choices to use because it's a different type of question to ask for an opinion on.

hmmmm....Never thought of this,good one ;D but yeah I all ways thought god gave us these abilities for a reasons such as the same reason he gave us arms and legs to work and to do other things.

Well, there could be many possible things, but I believe God(Yahweh, YHWH) has given us this gift. He created us all, so I guess He must have given us this ability, with or without the intention to. But, we use it none the less, and if it is a sin, it's another that we just add on to our lives. Even if it is a sin, would you be able to stop?

I think that the things needed to do this lay latent in all of our genes always at all times, and they just need to be sorta awakened. I honostly think they have probably been there since the beginning of time, just not quite discovered.

I think it is a side effect of the human brain. I think that the brain is a sort of quantum computer. It is much more than just simple neurons. Because we humans are extremely conscious of alot of the things that are around us, we are able to slightly alter the world around us. Psi is a direct manifestation of this because it is the brain using its own energy to manipulate what ever psi is, through sheer intent and will.

I believe the source of all abilities humanly possible (regardless of what you believe that includes) come from the energy that exists in your body.
Now that opens up two more questions..
What is that energy?
I'm not sure. Could be ATP, Chi, Psi, Ki, thermal, electrostatic, or any other type of energy you can think of. Bottom line is that it's energy... What other source could there be? You tell me, I don't know.
Where does it come from? (the energy)
Metabolic processes in the body. But, I guess the question is, who gives us that power? Take whatever answer you like, cause I have no idea: God, The Universe, Your inner self, the spirit world.. etc..
