*Gasp!* Who'd have thought? Well, its midnight and I got home from work a little while ago, and started feeling sort of out of touch with the world, and started writing. I wrote three poems, so I thought I might post them and see if anyone thought they were decent. Odds are I'll probably look rather foolish, and kick myself for it tomorrow, but hey.

Beneath the shadows of a starry sky,
To wish, to hope, to yearn,
A heart pleads to silent winds.
Fighting for love, for honor, for truth,
A soul strayed from its path,
Torn from its dreams.
A faithful wish,
Made from the heart,
And cast to the heavens above.
To love, to hope, to believe.

Darkness fills the mind,
As the time comes to an end,
Of a life, long lived, long loved.
Grief lays heavy upon the air,
Priests speak the final prayer,

Joy lives on, as far, far away
There come the cries
Of a life, not yet lived, and dearly loved.
