Legend about Sir Daniel Fortesque
-By Marko Klobuchar aka Kain
Chapter 1: Zarok's plan
A long time ago, in a kingdom named Gallomwere, lived a sorcerer named Zarok. Zarok hated people and they're peaceful ways of they're lives, so he raised an army of the demons, to conquer the kingdom of Gallomwere. The kings champion; sir Daniel Fortesque, led his army of men against ferocious army of Zarok's. Sir Daniel died, at the very first arrow wave. Although Sir Daniel died, his army won, but there was no joy at the very end. He was buried in Soulhome graveyard. Six hundred years after, Zarok came to that graveyard, with intense to raise Zombies. He did raise them, inspiring them with evil, turning them to the same side. Sir Daniel was the chosen one, so Zarok raised him from his eternal sleep as well, but he didn't turn evil. At the very same moment, Sir Daniel, with vengeance in his bones, vowed to kill Zarok, and every son of his. And thus, the vengeance begins.
Chapter 2: Dan's crypt
He stood up, still very tired and looked around. He saw nothing but darkness. Sir Daniel tryed to walk, but he stumbled, catching himself on the first wall. Soon, every torch lighted up, making the whole crypt visible. In front of Dan's little stony bed was a little metal gate, guarding stony hallway. At the both walls were two stone heads of broken statues. They looked peaceful, but yet creepy. Passing the metal gate, Sir Daniel heard something cracking. At the very moment, two heads started to talk by a divine voice, inspiring respect in Daniel:
"Aaaaahhh... Sir Daniel Fortesque, raised again to restore glory to the kingdom of Gallomwere..."
" Just let him alone, give him a chance to prove himself, he just might save the day!"
And thus, the heads set quiet. Still confused, Sir Daniel proceeded toward the very main room of his crypt. When he arrived, he stood in the middle of it, trying to describe it to himself. The room looked very Gothic, but yet caveish. All around the place were broken statues of different creatures and angels, but only few of them were whole. Maybe god guarded them... While exploring his crypt, Sir Daniel picked up dozen of throwing daggers. After a while, Dan found massive staircases, more and more darker at the top. He climbed up, and when he finally arrived at the top, he found Big wooden doors with cold, metal arrows.
As he got past them, a whole new scary world flashed right before his eyes.
Chapter 3: The Graveyard
Very slowly proceeding, the gate behind him slammed very loudly, so loud that Sir Daniel twitched. Dark night was outside, only source of light were torches, stabbed in cold, metal fence. Very creepy world unfolded in Daniel's short eyesight. In front of him was a big metal gate, with letters on top, both made out of metal.
The letters spelled S O you L H O M E. As Dan got past them, he saw most horrible sight he ever saw. It was rather horrible looking face of a living dead- With only one eye, gray-green wrinkled skin and very little teeth, he ran toward Sir Daniel. Out of himself, Sir Daniel swiftly grabbed his only weapon, the throwing dagger. He precisely throwed it in living dead's head, making him just dead. Just a little frightened, Dan carefully proceeded. Whilst in graveyard, Dan encountered many Zombies, killing all of them. Further away, a crate was standing right next to a small chapel, yelling to be opened. Daniel, of course, responded to that call, opening the crate and founding a little cooper shield. A little too bit scared, Daniel entered that little, stony chapel, not knowing what danger is coming.
Chapter 4: Stained Glass Demon
As Daniel entered the chapel, the door slammed shut, producing a loud noise that echoed all over the chapel. At the very moment the door slammed shut, the torches enlightened whole chapel. As Daniel looked at the end of the chapel, he saw a most beautiful sight he ever saw. An altar at the end of the chapel was made whole out of beautiful stained glass. In the middle of that altar was a giant Stained glass demon, not very alive at the moment. As Dan carefully proceeded toward the demon, the light got stronger. Dan, curious as he always was, touched him, and the demon set alive! Inside his fragile chest was a heart, pulsating energy to every little piece of his fragile body. As was written in the destiny, the battle began. It was rather easy, however. The demon put Dan in the corner of the chapel. Thinking that his life is over once again, he grabbed throwing dagger and threw it toward demon's heart. Breaking his chest, the dagger ripped through his heart. The demon fell apart, and that resulted in a minor earthquake. The Flor fell apart, and a huge opening was created in it. Dan fell in it, it was like the darkness swallowed him.
Half dead and half alive, laying down on the pile of stones, Dan was unconscious in a huge dark void...
