Can we add a Paranormal/Spiritual Forum?

i think it would do great and draw attention away from the spiritual reguarding other topics.

tell me what you think.

I have also had the idea of a Combat section, under lock and key of course. For [expeirnced] members to share there techniques and other methods.

I actually like the idea of a combat section. The only place that I know of that has a combat section is XPWarrior3's Psionic Dojo. Sparring is a fun way to practice energy manipulation and everything....

yeah, but as long as it stayed in the forum and didnt give off the wrong impression- many sites dont have it for a reason!

But it's dangerous. This site is aimed at newbies and helping them out with their powers and training. I teach them how to be safe and learn to respect themselves and other psionics. Combat would, in my opinion go against that point.

Hmm, I thought they were both good ideas, being that combat be under 'lock and key' as lonewolf said.

Saying the person is responsible, I would perhaps be up for any discussion on combat related things on msn sometime if anyone cares to.

yes i agree with both of you but newbs that have recently started using psi well they seem to think there invencable and instead of them using them in emergenceys thel be sparing without any one thats skilled higher than them to overwatch.

Oath, I understand your points and all, but I still think it goes against the site. This site is to be peaceful and I don't like going against that in any way.

Psion14, I agree. But then again I went through the same thing 5 years ago. It's a stage many go through. they will get over it in time.

I would like to see a new sub-forum on prescience or future vision ability. One thing that is rather lacking here

meh. not offensive, but defensive is important.
if I'm getting in a fight, I will use psi to defend myself and (where's my gun? =p )

edit : I Think if you really are interested in attacking someone psionically, you'll probibly find a way. but you don't really have much of a choice if someone is attacking you, other than to defend yourself somehow. I think a combat(defence) section should be readily available, and if people are really dedicated, they'll make their own combat (offence) section.

don't call it "combat" section, call it "psionic Defence" if you make it at all. and make sure you get a vigilant moderator on it, someone who is paying attention (although honestly, this forum - as a whole - seemingly has a pretty good set of moderator system as is.)

Edit... actually, I've come to the conclusion, there really isn't anything that couldn't find it'sself in the catagory of shields... defence is the idea of shields.
