Well, if you didn't notice already, but I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and have decided to write an anime-type story based off of what has been revealed, and what I expect to happen. Now, if any of this comes true, I want to state that I had no idea that it would happen this way, and that by no means it involves any part of Square Enix, Disney, or any other company affiliated with Kingdom Hearts.
I will reserve Square Enix, Disney, or any other company affiliated with Kingdom Hearts the right to ask me to stop writing, because it is their own story and I will respect their wishes. I will also not publish this into a book unless written consent from them, or I send it in to request to be made into a book.
Chapter One - Unknown Origins
Kairi sat up in her bed, thinking about what happened last night. The battle was intense. The way that the two clashed, the way that his amulet turned him into stone, scared her. She shuttered in her sleep. She continued just thinking of Sora, and wondering where he went. She believes that the person that got turned into stone was his brother, because he looked just like him. Although, she doesn’t know exactly who it was, she had deep compassion about him.
Kairi, walking downstairs, lonely in the old house, wondered what she would have for breakfast. “Hmm, I guess I’ll just have the usual pop-tart.” Stepping outside at the unusually clouded Destiny Island, glancing up at the sun, realized that there was something coming. It was a strong presence. It was like nothing she had ever imagined. Her memories were coming back from that horrid night. It was coming. There was no stopping it.
Fear clutched Kairi’s throat as she tried to scream, but nothing came out. The huge ball of Darkness had come, reminding her what happened to Riku and Sora. Now that she was 17, she was mature enough to know what to do. Immediately she grabbed a wooden sword, but reminded herself that nothing but the Keyblade, or other weapons such as that, like what Donald and Goofy had, would work against them. As the Heartless minions came running after her, in their small shadow form, she made like the wind. Escaping was not an option. She had to somehow think of a way to defend against the huge colony of Heartless.
As she ran, she thought of ways to get against it. She knew that Light was a way to fend it off, but it was impossible to find a weapon of light at this time of extreme darkness. The more she ran away, the more stronger the Heartless became, and the faster they ran. Eventually coming to a corner she had to stop. This was it. This was the last line. Fearing that they would steal her Heart, one of the seven sacred Hearts that are needed to open the door to Kingdom Hearts.
The Heartless became stronger and stronger, and finally stopped about 5 meters in front of her. Kairi thought it was over, when it had just began. Like in Sora’s dream, the Heartless gathered, creating one huge Heartless of herself, yet about the size of the Empire State Building. “How can I beat that with no weapon that can damage it?!” Kairi cried out. A mysterious, unknown thought entered her head. “The closer to the door you are, the stronger your shadow becomes. Do not be afraid of the Darkness. For it shall not get you, for you have a key, a key of the Light.”
Right next to Kairi, a Keyblade appeared, like magic. Remembering the charm that Sora gave back to her whenever they came back to the island, but left, attached it to the Keyblade. It transformed into the Oblivion Keyblade. This Keyblade was the blade that unlocked Sora’s heart, and transformed him into a Heartless. But with Kairi’s true love, saved Sora from a life of unimaginable horror. Now, with this new weapon, it was time to fight.
With her new weapon, Kairi decided it was time to end it. Every attack, every strike, seemed like it hurt even more to her. With her last bit of energy left, she had used her MP to cast a spell that no one could imagine, a spell that only a true Keyblade master could cast. As it has no name, I will call it “The Unforgiving Light”. This spell when cast, will illuminate any Darkness around, destroying and killing any normal Heartless in the general area. But, as this was no normal Heartless, it did massive damage. As the Shadow of Kairi started to dissipate, it made a huge ball of Darkness, engulfing itself, pulling Kairi along with it.
At this point, time was nothing. Matter was nothing. Being was nothing. Whole existence in this ball of Darkness WAS nothing. It was like a black hole. It sucked you up, and then hopefully spit you out somewhere else. Fortunately, Kairi was in the ball of Darkness and was conscious. She had no control over herself. The long strand of nothingness continued on forever, for eternity, until it absorbed enough things to close it off. Now it was time to wait.
About 30 minutes later, infinity it seemed for Kairi, it had closed off, and she was falling, and falling, into an unknown strange land. Here she was, in the middle of a strange town. A town crier shouted out, “Welcome to Traverse Town, come ye, come all!” Kairi jumped up, and looked about. “Hey, I think I’ve been here before! I remember being taken here after Malificent tried to steal my heart.” Now, in Traverse Town, she was stuck, with no way to get anywhere else. Kingdom Hearts was thought to close contact from everyone’s worlds, but, as it seemed, it hasn’t. It has only opened more.

Chapter Two - Town Of Travelers
In this new odd town, Kairi has a lot of options to do. She could go over to the Moggles, and see what they are synthesizing, she could go to the general store to stock up on potions and ethers, she could explore around town and talk to Cid, maybe drop by Pinocchio and say hi, or, even come to meet me while I am training for The Battle.
As Kairi was walking down the street, she noticed a mailbox. “YOU can win RIGHT NOW! Find all 8 of the missing letters, mail them, and win prizes. YES, YOU! Open to everyone, there are only 50 letters everywhere. Good luck!” Kairi said aloud, “Well, I guess I could try looking for them.” Walking over to the Moggles, she watched them take ordinary items and come out with super-strong items. She thought she had to try this sometime, so she better keep her eyes open for supplies. She dropped by Pinocchio, and said a quick “Hi.” and then wondered off, into the strange town.
It was peaceful. Ever since Sora had closed the Door once more, the Heartless haven’t returned to any of the worlds. Off in the distance, in the woods, she spotted a small, monotone house, with the feeling of being nothing. She decided to investigate it. Well, to her surprise, it was my house! How she found it, as it was hidden, I do not know, but currently I am awaiting her arrival.
I heard several knocks on the door. “Hello, is anyone here?” Kairi shouted out. I scrambled to the door in nothing but my own robes, and answered the door quickly. “Ahh, yes, I have been expecting you, Kairi.” I stated. “You may not know me, but you shall refer to me as Cu. I know that you have no idea who I am, or where you are, but you are currently in my hidden house. Good job finding it. I was planning on leading you to it, but, as you found it yourself, you saved me some trouble. Please, sit down.” I pulled out a chair from the table, seating her down for a long, interesting talk.
“So, where exactly are we?” Kairi asked. “Well, to be honest, we are in Traverse Town. Traverse Town is a town where random people get lost in the Darkness, and appear here whenever they find themselves again.” I pulled out a huge map, it took up the whole 10 by 10 feet table. “This, is where we are.” I pointed to a small, distant dot on the map. “As you can see, there are many other worlds out there. I’m currently working on a way to move to these worlds somehow, but don’t know if I can. I know that Gummi Blocks would work, but I want something with a bit more “kick”, if you know what I mean.”
Kairi looked confused. “So, we are here, so what are all these other places? I think I’ve been to them before. But, what happened? They all look different, as if, something had changed them.” I was afraid she was going to notice that. “Well, whenever our friends Sora and Riku had ventured over the worlds, I’m sad to say that they meddled. Now, meddling is not good. It alters everything the whole universe is, and can destroy the fabric of time itself. I don’t know how it did this, but we will try to fix it. Closing the Door, Kingdom Hearts, didn’t help. It just bought some time for us to find them again. Pretty soon another door will open, and more Heartless will escape.”
The look on her face was pale white. “Well, I hate to say this, but um, whenever I came here, there WERE Heartless on Destiny Islands. It tried capturing me, but I knew that it wouldn’t win. A Keyblade, appeared out of nowhere. I wonder where it was from.” Watching her, I watched a Keyblade appear into her hands. I was scared. “Oh no, this is worse than I thought. The Keyblade must be building an army. I don’t think we had enough time to find Sora and Riku! We need to find them immediately. Have you had any training in combat?” “Well, not really, but this weird thing I casted was scary, I thought I was going to be blinded.”
Could it be?! Could she be The Other One??? How could she? She did not even know it’s name. Actually, to be certain, it really didn’t have a name. I have named it “The Unforgiving Light”. Currently even I cannot cast it. I believe Kairi is a lot more stronger than I thought. Never-the-less, I shall still have to teach her basic combat. “Well, Kairi, you have unfound skills underneath yourself. I shall help you unlock them. I just require one thing. Whenever you casted that “spell”, how did you do it? I need to know.” She looked interested in telling me. “Well, I knew that I was in quite a predicament that I couldn’t get out of myself. I needed some way to help me escape. I remember holding up my Keyblade, and thinking of nothing but light saving me.”
Well, with this, I was interested. I will have to try this out when the time is right. “Well, still, since it took almost all of your power to do that, we need to work on basic combat. Which you obviously have no skill in.” “HEY!!! That’s no way to treat a young lady!” Kairi cried out. “Well, I’m being blunt.” I said, containing my laughter. “I’ll have you go to one of my favorite mentors, a quite good one at that.
Kairi reluctantly listened, and decided to go. I sent her off to Cid. He isn’t the best, but he will have to do for now. “Hmm, I wonder who this Cid dude is. I hope he knows how to PROPERLY treat a young lady.” She shot a snobby look at me. “Aeroga!” I shouted, pointing my Keyblade at her. Suddenly a huge burst of wind sent her flying against the wall. “Ow, what was that for?” she cried. “Treat others and myself with respect.” “Fine, I will.”
Obviously she has changed. Now, I didn’t mean to hurt her, but it was the only way to prove a point. We arrived at Cid’s house. It was about a 30 minute walk away, but it was worth it. His house was huge. “Well, what’s taken ye’ so long, lad?” Cid said, in his monotone-southern voice. “Well, Kairi was smart mouthing at me, so I had to show her a little taste of the Aeroga spell.” I said. “Well, that’s okay then. Let’s start your training, Kairi.” Cid said, anxious.
Cid led Kairi away, into a huge room of training. I left to go back to my house to read up more on The Unforgiving Light. “Now, I’m going to teach you the basics. See those dummies over there? Watch this.” Cid cast a beam of light from his arm, animating the dummies into opponents. “I want you to fight them using anyway you can think of. Now go.”
Kairi jumped surprisingly from the amount of dummies and the strength of them. She quickly drew her Keyblade and went to battle. Cid watched in amazement. She was doing well. Kairi was slashing left and right, using advanced techniques even I didn’t believe she possessed. After about a half hour had passed, Cid stopped the dummies from animating. “Well, you sure actually know something about fighting. I think you are ready.”
Heading back to my shop, Kairi bought some potions and ethers to regenerate herself from that long fight. She was tired, but she needed to learn to have more stamina. On the way back she encountered a small Heartless. Startled, she decided to fight it. She drew out her Keyblade and killed it. “That was odd…” She said outloud. Rushing back to my house to tell me what happened, she fell. I watched her, because she was in the forest. “That clumsy girl…”I said, under my breath, semi-laughing to myself.
“The Heartless… they’re… back!” Kairi managed to struggle out. “WHAT?! Where? How? When?” I demanded. “Right there, in Traverse Town, I think they are back. I saw one, I attacked it. They are here. Somehow, I don’t know how, but they got here. They are after us, I think.” “Wrong, they are here for hearts. They need them to power themselves. Get Traverse Town on full lockdown and close all doors to outside worlds. Now!

Chapter 3 - Secrets Revealed
As we Kairi, Cid, and I rushed toward the center of town, our worst fears became a reality. The Heartless had shut off access to all parts of the city! Now, confound it, I can’t believe them. I didn’t think they were that smart. “Kairi, I have to tell you something.” I said in almost a whisper. “Yes, Cu?” she said in a faint voice. “Well, let me explain this scenario a little bit clearer. The Heartless are smarter than I feared. They are not as ignorant as I first thought. They have closed off all access to other parts of town by using their Darkness. I have been studying them for some time, and my tests shown that they could never do this.” Kairi replied, “So what do you think is happening?”
“Well, not too long ago, maybe a year or so ago, Sora, our friend, the first one to be chosen by the Keyblade, had fought off Xemnas, the King of Nobodies. Nobodies are creatures without hearts, they are just empty shells, that strive to be alive again. Xemnas was the head of a group called Organization XIII. They are also nobodies, who think they are real people, and strive to make their own Kingdom Hearts to become real. Sora beat him, and I was for sure that was the end of the nobodies.” Kairi looked dumbfounded. “So what happened?” “Well, I was afraid that we didn’t necessarily get rid of all the nobodies. I’m sure there were a few left. We will have to destroy the Nobodies again, because it seems they are teaming up.”
As we wondered all over town trying to find a way to break through the barriers of Darkness, an idea came to me and I had to shout it out. “We can team up and use The Unforgiving Light to break through the barrier!” Cid looked at me sideways like a dog when you talk to it. “What we do is find the door to the center of town, then cast it in front of it so that we destroy the barrier. It’s perfect.” “Well, it’s worth a shot.” Kairi said, and shrugged.
On the way there, some other thoughts came over me. What ever happened to Riku? Was he still alive? I hope so. He is another chosen one of the Keyblade. The last we saw of him was at Destiny Islands. King Mickey, who was another chosen one of the Keyblade came and took him to Disney Island so they could sort out some stuff. I hope they have already departed. “Well, we’re here.” I said, catching my breath from the two mile walk. “I guess it’s time to do this.”
I had a glimmer of doubt in me. What if this didn’t work? Would we be trapped here forever? Here we are, at the barrier of Darkness. “Well, Kairi, remember exactly how you did it?” “Yeah, all I did was point my Keyblade into the air, thought only of light, and used all of my energy into the attack.” Kairi was shaking. Probably from fear. I wouldn’t blame her. “Okay, let’s do this.” In exact unison, we both drew our Keyblades, raised them above our heads, and thought only of light, and used all of our energy. Instantly, a beam of pure light came from our Keyblades, coming together, making the brightest thing anyone ever saw. Cid, who had sunglasses on, had to look away because of how bright it was. After about 10 seconds of the attack out, the Darkness barrier disappeared faster than you could blink. The door into the center of town shattered, and the Heartless behind the door were killed faster than ever. It was a success.
“We did it!” Kairi exclaimed, jumping for joy. “Don’t get too excited yet, we still have a whole load of Heartless that want to kill us still. We can do it, just keep concentrating.” I sounded like a party-pooper. But what I said was true. “You know, Cu, I’m a little scared. I have seen Heartless before, on the island and in Hollow Bastion, but nothing scared me more than those big ones. It looked exactly like me, and was a huge shadow of myself. I could have sworn from somewhere I heard ‘The closer to the door you are, the stronger your shadow becomes. Do not be afraid.’” “Well, that same mysterious message came to me too. I think it must mean something.” I said. Kairi glanced over my shoulder and pounced behind me with a great strike. I flinched, jumping out of the way. She slew a Heartless right there. “Well, you aren’t that scared, are you?” She blushed and we continued walking.
Walking through town, Kairi shuddered a lot. I think she was still scared even though she seemed more powerful than Heartless. I stopped by a local store and bought us both a Diet Coke. We stopped and drank it thankfully. In an instant, when we were finished, the whole earth, the whole town, became even darker. It became almost pitch black, where we could not see well. “What’s happening?!” Kairi shouted out, grabbing for me to find out where I am. “Well, it seems what our worst fears have been are coming true. The Heartless ARE teaming up with Nobodies. Pretty soon this should fade away, but don’t expect it fading away if it happens again.” The darkness lifted up and we began again with our normal business.
I have to admit, it was boring. I thought something big was going to happen. C’mon, let the biggest and baddest Heatless come out and mess with TWO Keyblade masters. Then again, nothing happened for a while. We walked around for what seemed like days, checking every corner, every crevice, and found no signs of the Heartless. “I just don’t get it, the world became dark, and then light. Now there is no signs of the Heartless, or the Darkness.”
Then, I spotted something beyond what I thought I could believe. A Heartless, giving a Nobody soldier a heart. How, why, and who did that? Many thoughts rushed out of my mind. The nobody jumped up and grabbed the heart. It completely transformed. It turned into a fully armored somebody. Now, I don’t know what to call a Nobody that changed into something, but I shall name it a Nobodian. Of course, it really isn’t a Nobody now, because it has a heart, but I will name it that until a more appropriate name comes. The looks of the Nobodian were amazing. It had two, foot long swords that were razor sharp. Its armor looked as if it was made of obsidian, the only mineral that has no mineral in it. That was deadly scary.
Of course, we wanted to test its power. So, we engaged in provoking it. We jumped out, and startled it. It didn’t fight against us! I swear, it’s the oddest thing ever. We even hit it a couple times, but it just stood there, taking the blows in. Of course it hurt him, you could see him in pain. The Nobodian looked like it was on our side. I can’t believe it. We started to walk away, and it followed. A Heartless popped up, and it destroyed it. This is a breakthrough. What used to be our enemy, is actually destroying our other enemy. Why didn’t I think of this before?!
We stood there as ignorant as ever. What if we did this earlier? I don’t exactly trust this Nobodian either. Thoughts of “I Am Legend” snuck into my head, reminding me that the virus they created turned on them and killed many people. I’m afraid this may happen. But for now, we shall let it come. The Heartless doesn’t even know what it does! These secrets that have been long hidden are revealed. What we once thought was fiction is now true.

you need to go into more detail when you write stuff like "went into battle". What actions happened? How did she feel before, during and after? It's not a bad story mind you, but it could use improvements.

Thanks for the critisism. I probably won't have another chapter for a little unless my dad lets me on the computer. Whenever I write, I don't do the whole brainstorm thing. I really just write what comes to mind. I call it "Open-Mind writing". Although sometimes I will go back after reading it and might take out a paragraph, redo it, or maybe just delete the whole thing and rewrite it all. It just all depends on what I think it needs. Thank you for telling me that, I'll try to add more next time.

Chapter Four - Time To Move
Well, after the last and long thought of the Nobodian on our side, we tried communicating. “Hello?” I shouted at it, hoping for a response. No comment back. “Well, that was useless.” Kairi said, and let out a sigh. “Well, as it’s calmed down some, we might as well find a way to get off this world. I mean, it’s only one big town. So, we’ll be traveling in my new and improved Gummi ship!” Kairi looked at me. “’New and Improved‘, eh? How so?” I half-smiled back to her. “Well, Kairi, to be honest, it’s just like the old one. I just wanted to add in some dramatic effect.” I started a half-evil cackle. “Except for the fact that the weapons are about ten times stronger, and that the armour system is almost impossible to break through.”
With that being said, we head off to my hangar, where we stocked up on a few supplies, such as food, water, and some cameras. I had a feeling we might need the cameras for reasons other than photos, so we might as well take them. “All set?” I asked Kairi. She looked anxious about this. “Uhh, sure?” She said, not even knowing what she was getting into. I signaled the “OK” symbol to the hangar operators, and they started opening the doors. This is the part where I get all jittery and can’t wait to go. “Cu! I forgot to strap in!” And that’s when it turned all bad.
When I heard those words, I jumped up from the cockpit and ran back to her, making sure she was strapped in. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it back in time. I heard the “Go!” from the hangar operators, and knew I was in for a little ride. After leaving we zigzagged around and around until I finally made it back up to the control room. “Kairi, don’t you EVER forget to strap in again.” I warned her, with a serious expression on my face. “Okay.” She finally meeped out. Well, this is the part that’s almost boring. I had to drive around, following mediocre maps that have arrows all over the place, in hope of finding a new world.
As I thought the Heartless were too busy to be flying in Gummi ships, was I wrong or what? I saw just a few, rushing past us. “Engage combat mode!” I shouted out. The ship suddenly transformed into this huge gigantic wall-like structure. There were two huge gunner seats, and auto-pilot was turned on. I grabbed a gun and so did Kairi. “Wait for it, wait for it… OPEN FIRE!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. When I looked over at Kairi, she had the “How do you, what do I, do you press,” look on her face. I guess I had to help her. I sighed, stop shooting, and went over to her.
“Did you not learn how to operate this thing yet?” I said, in a harsh tone. “Well, no. You never taught me nor did I ever learn how before. I never have been on a Gummi ship before.” She replied. After about a ten minute demonstration of the do’s and don’ts of the turrets, we engaged once again in firing. Our ammo was unlimited, for it was made by the power of crystals. We kept on destroying Heartless’ Gummi’s left and right, until we reached this gigantic purple turtle shell that had 6 drills coming out of it. “What the hell do we do?!” Kairi shouted. I can’t believe she just cursed. “Well, after washing your mouth out with soap, we can do something different.” Of course I didn’t really wash out her mouth with soap, but we did do something different.
With a little luck and a couple of switches, our Gummi turned into one huge laser-shooter. I just merrily sang out loud, “It was a two-eyed, six-horned, flying Heartless people eater, two-eyed, six-horned, flying Heartless people eater.” I couldn’t help but laugh at that, and neither could Kairi. After we had the “Lock-On” button lighted up, we pressed the huge red “FIRE” button. The ship had a little recoil, but didn’t do too much damage back to us. That little flying Heartless people eater blew up into a million pieces. Finally, we got to change back into the regular Gummi ship form and continued. “Well, that was surely terrifying, wasn’t it, Cu?” Kairi mumbled out. “Think of that thing as a tiny tick. That’s just the beginning of our troubles.”
As we continued on, we just talked about how I made the ship, where I got the parts, and why this all happened. “Well, I, and anyone probably, doesn’t fully understand how Heartless came to be. But, what we know so far is that they aren’t good. They steal our hearts if they get close enough and get us down, if you haven’t already seen that.” When I said that Kairi shivered. “If you think that’s scary, you need to see something that’s bigger than your own Shadow. Trust me, you don’t want to see it.”
After the long day, I set the ship to auto-pilot and we went to sleep. I was actually tired and chose to sleep. That isn’t like me. As we slept soundless and undisturbed, a little-bitty-teensy-weensy little sound fired, because I didn’t know that the laser we fired damaged the sound software. That small little beep would be the beginning of the end of us. That little beep would kill us if no one would wake up. Somehow one of the hangar operators found it, and woke me up by contacting me. When I looked at the screen, it shown something that I don’t believe could be there. “WORLD FOUND” blinked with red letters on the screen.
Now, in the whole universe, how often do you come across a random planet in the middle of hyperspace going at almost two light-years an hour? Let me tell you, in my 13 years of flying, it’s never happened. Well, to my amazement, it was even more strange. The planet, by far I thought was destroyed, was named “The End Of The World”. How this still survived I do not know, but what we will find out is why is it still there, and what made it survive.

Thanks. I just write from what I think of, straight open-ended. I don't like to write by using rough drafts and so, it only makes me lose what I want to say. Whenever I write a chapter, I write it right then and there, and just go along with whatever I want to say. I try not to mind how long it is, because it really doesn't matter as long as I get said what I want. Well, thanks for your opinion.
