Yeah, I agree. And it could be held in the Psi World's chat session thing. However, I doubt JediKaren would approve of this; it deals with combat and she isn't too fond of psionic combat on her site.   I personally think this site would be much better (and it's already pretty dang good!) if we were allowed to combat and talk about combat. |

If it was not for the fact that self-defense could be twisted to be used to harm so easily it would be unlocked. The fact is - you need a certain mindset to do self defense, people naturally tend to favor violence rather than defense and keeping to themselves.
If you ask JediKaren for the password and she deems you to be the type of person that can use knowledge for defense but not offense, she will give the password.

That is exactly how they do it in Martial Arts
For example, a 7yr old white belt, they wouldn't teach him chokes and grabs because the next day that kid will probally do it on his friends and could seriously hurt them.

Beautiful system you've got for self-defence, in my oppinion. If only everyone used it we wouldn't have so many freshly spawned nooblets going around trying to give people headaches. Of course, if said nooblets where smarter, i woudln't matter, becuase they'd have the immagination to develop their own 'harmful' techniques... *Sigh* Why are the dumb the ones that tend to be violent?
Cryball: Assuming you're still around, Psi-fight is having one. And although they have started, it's moving so slowly right now you could probably butt in and request a spot, and there will probably be a vacancy.

"Ignorance breeds violence, and as most people tend to be ignorant of something or another most people become violent at some point in their lives." I believe that the ones who want to harm others are simply unable to understand how balance works. The balance has been tipped on the side of darkness and violence for a long time, yet people still side with darkness/violence when balance demands the opposite. People are simply ignorant of how things should be and why things are. |
