How do you all feel towards donating to the site. The money would only be used for the site. Here's what I can think of that needs money:
Making the forum ad free (costs 7 dollars a month)
Getting a .com for the site (not sure how much that costs, but shouldn't be much)
Upgrading the freewebs part of the site.
Moving the main part of the site to a better host
Maybe buying a chat room that doesn't suck
Do you all think you could donate maybe 3-5 dollars a month? If 10 people did that we could have up to 50 dollars, which could pay probably for two of those items. Or, are you all poor like me? Don't feel bad if you don't like this idea or can't pay.

I don't mind the adds, it's just to ignore them, Getting .com why would you do that... no reason for it.
Why did you say that you didn't like mIRC, Jedikaren?
I would donate money, if i had any. But i don't see any reason because I think it's great just as it is.

Only way I get money is by doing those cheap 'click on this ad for 30 seconds and get ** cents!. you can make money easy by just stayin at your computer!' . I have almost a dollar. I dont know what I'm going to use it for but the money's on paypal. So I reckon I can donate like that.

I think it would be good to put a paypal button for people to donate if they want to.
I will donate probably if I can get a paypal account. I feel so restricted at 14.

well, let's say I got 50 dollars in one month. That should be enough to cover me for at least 3 months, if not more for the cost of a chatroom, or making the forum ad free. So, whatever is donated during those three months could be considered overflow, or used to gain money for something else.

For the ads though, just download Mozilla Firefox and get the Add-on called Adblock Plus. Just block the ads you dont want. Its all free
