Tell me about it.. It's hard enough to create a skin that works. I should know. Jedikaren. Maybe you could give them the layout for the skin so they could give you all the numbers to put in a pm.

Board Colour: #1100FF
Board Highlight Colour: #...

etc.

Then you can put it into a test skin and if you think it's decent put it up as an option. Just a suggestion btw.

I second this! If they want a new skin, they can make it themselves! Then, you [JK] can add it to the list, but don't make it the default.

Good luck. It's hard to get them to be like they are now. I like it as it is. There's also over 20 fields that you have to change. Good luck.

Ok, I was wrong. I am very sorry for my quick words and short mood. I'll pm you with the fields. Once again, I'm sorry. I'm not perfect and I should have checked. I honestly thought you couldn't. Anyone else who wants to create a new skin pm me for the fields. But I do not lie when I say it's murder to come up with one that looks good.

I second this! Coming up wit skins is hell! ProBoards should create like 10 basic skins. All the other forums have them...then you could edit/create a new one to match your site.

if it helps any, I didn't pick proboards, Matt did when helping me make this site 3 years ago. Had I know more about sites back then, I could have picked something better than this.

Proboards is good for almost everything BUT skins. But, as you wish, you can change it. Good luck.

I like all the features this site gives you, but the skin template is awful in my opinion. There's probably a long way around this, but I didn't look.

Also, I have two skins done and my friend Rose made a third one that I need to edit a bit. Making these was nowhere near as bad as you all made it out to be. It was a little tedious, sure, but there are two picture guides to help you, descriptions and even a color chart. My site is WAY harder to make skins for.

Does proboards let you use images instead of just colouring the tables?
