There seems to be a certain distance, area around me that if you have a strong emotion I pick it up without meaning to, but if you aren't in that area I have to link with you to feel it. Does anyone have this happen to them?

I suspect everyone (even those that can't consciously do psi) gets that. I can't actually speak for non-psions since I've been doing this all my life but I know many people who don't even believe in psi sometimes hint at this.

hmmm i think what you've experiece could be a stronger form of what everyone seems to be able to do- say if someone angry walks in a room everyone knows, by picking up their energy, without even knowing so.
does that make sense?

there was a very good example of that happened in English the other day.
My teacher started off the class somewhat angry (in a loving, caring way, you know, motherly way) saying that she won't take late work anymore and she's cracking down on people coming in late. Then she had us respond to the art unit we finished and write about what we thought about it. Most of the replies had something negative in them even though the responses would start out "I liked this unit...". This shows how emotions can effect everyone.

It's the interaction between your field/aura and the field/aura of someone else. Our energy fields are composed of weak bio-electicity. Our fields are electromagnetic and bioelectric and that carries bio-electric pulses. The bio-electric pulses carry thought patterns, emotions and pain or physical sensations, that are sensed and generated by the brain then distributed throughout your body by way of your nervous system. What seems to be happening to you is that when your field and the field of someone else come into contact, your mind will pick up on those patterns that are being dispersed throughout that person.
There's one thing that should be understood is that a psychic's of psion's field/aura is their sensitive area. Almost any energy that moves through your field/aura will be felt. A shield helps to eliminate this problem. With an active shield, the energy becomes less recognizable because your mind has now learned to not pay attention to, block out or suppress those feelings and patterns. So don't feel like your the only one. It happens to all the psions/psychics that I've come in contact with.

I've always been very impathic. Through the years I've learned to block it. This happens with little effort these days but it use to take some concentration. BUT... still when the emotion is strong enough it takes me over, anyway. It really sucks at work because when people aren't satisfied they get angry... ager is very strong... Then it wells up from my chest and I get that "Taste" in my mouth... you know, like just before a fight. Ruins much of the day... I deal though.

yeah I know how that is. Last summer I had to work ever sunday and it was out most busy day. I would come home badly overloaded and begging for peace and quiet.

old topic but i'll answer to it anyway.... people are like radio stations, they broadcast emotions, thougt forms, diffrent energy forms all the time all you have to do is to be tunned and be in range you don't need aura 2 aura interaction you can be in the same building 5 floors appart the thing is that you never know what really hits you...is that you or a ghost =))
