I've been wondering, alot of articles on telepathy goes on about visualization and I'm not that great on visualization. Now the problem is not that I can't visualize I can visualize perfectly visualizing things to be indistinguishable to the real object visually and tactily (it's identical in weight texture looks proportions etc) but in an attempt to keep my sanity I convinced myself that there is no way that it can have any connection with the "real world" and I can't get around that now I think that I have already have had some telepathic experiences so my question is this is visualization essential/important for good telepathy ability and if not what alternatives are there

Visualization is not nessecary. Depending on the person your send to or receiving from, it is better(for me anyways) to feel my way through their thoughts. Rather than visualize them. Most of the time however visualizing helps dramitcally. But it's mostly a matter of personal preferance.

sorry for the long absence thanks for the replys rayne I'm not sure what you mean being hyperactive helps? Usually that doesn't help me I'm permanently hyper which makes consentration and focusing on certain things kinda hard
@ stolide I see what you mean I think I'll have to experiment a little more don't know what I should try as I'm about an equaly kinestetik(?) and visual person.
Not to wast a thread I have another question a while ago I was trying to link to a friend of mine but about half way I remembered gnome from PsiPog (I think) said that linking was dangerous as it's difficult to break a link (especialy to a newbie) so I decided to just see if I can pick up anything then the next moment I just couldn't think straight there was a gazilion differant thoughts and I couldn't focus on anything (for some reason I remenber the thoughts to about 1 cm in diameter for what it's worth) I was really scared and it felt like I couldn't move (not parilized more like if your trapped in an avaluanch(?)) when I opened my eyes everything went a little quiter but I couldn't consentrate at all that day.
Then the other day I think it was this week or maybe yesterday(?) I desided that I would try again (this time with someone experianced) and about the same thing happen the "paralises" wasn't realy there and I wasn't scared (although I was pretty anoyed) and the whole messy though thing was kinda slower and bigger (as in the thoughts was 5 cm in diameter not 1).
So my question is this what happened why did it happen and if aplicable(?) how do I stop/channel/control/ with/e it??
P.S I apologize for my grammer I know it's difficult to read and I dislike bad grammar/spelling to but I just never could seem to get grammer right and also my spelling is not perfect (-: (english is not my native language)

I am not sure how you are equated thoughts with CM please explain. The reason I beleive you were "Paralyzed" is because you were overwhelmed with thoughts.
That went away for me after awhile. I got used to it quickly because I hear other peoples thoughts all the time(IE 24/7) as whispers of what they are thinking or about to say. I learned to controll it through will power and sheilds.
Hopefully you won't have a problem with as you continue your practice. I would like to note that I am a much more powerful telepath while I am very bored and tired, when I am "zoned out." So while beginning I would not reccomend practicing when you feel like that.

Thanks I'll remember that in the future. Incedently the first time I was practicing just after I woke up and the second time was just before I went to sleep. The weird practicing time comes mainly from having to share a room with my brother so if someone comes in I can just pretend I'm asleep. Ok cm stands for centimeters which is a unit of measuring i.e 2.5cm is roughly equal to 1 inch. The reason I included that was it stood out pretty definitely so I thought it might be important Thanks again for the help. EDIT I just thought of something is a thought overload dangerous (I googled it but the best I could find was a definition on empathy overload). What I mean with dangerous if you overload to much do you get desensitized or maybe something with permanent effects or passing out or something. Or do you just get a headache or have a lack of concentration or something minor like that?

The most I have seen in person was, an inability to manipulate psi for about four hours.

Thanks allot stolide! That settled pretty much all my questions (for now). So I think that I'll go practice/play around for a while and see if something else come up. (:
