Today was the day of our Spanish class presentations and there was one guy who was really messing his up. The speech had to be in complete Spanish (no English) and he kept stumbling over his words, using bits of English, ect. I could feel he was really nervous. So I tried to send him a little suggestion to relax. I focused on his eyes and forhead, but all that did was make him scratch his head  |

I think it was because he was so nervous, plus I had just given my own presentation, so my nerves were fried |

So what exactly were you trying to do, Liz? I know that one time, when my dog was really hyper, running all over the place and jumping on me and everything, I just visualized some calming blue energy flowing from me and into him, and almost immediately he just laid down on the grass and stared at me. So I've been doing this a few times since then, whenver he gets really excited, and it always works to calm him down. Was this what you tried to do with the guy in your Spanish class or what?

Thats basically what I was trying to do. I visualized calming energy going from me to him. That's the gist of it. It usually works with my dog, as you were explaining, and with people I try it on. There was once that I made one of my less-than-favorite teachers forget about a quiz. But as I said, I wasn't really concentrating that much. I had just bombed my own presentation so I was trying to figure out the damage it was going to do to my grade.
