Ok here's a quick lesson in how to ap. Please note this is for newbies. I do it slightly differently by skipping certain steps. I do NOT recomend at all skipping steps if this is your first time.
Astral projection also know as astral planing is the ability to mentally and spirit wise leave your body and travel the world around you. There is no limit of how far you can go and you can always return to your body whenever you wish. You can meet people in the this state. They can be eigher aping themselves or just noticing you. If they are not aping they must be strong enough in psionics to be able to sense your presences. This will not work with your newbie friend.
First you need to lay down on a bed. It's possible to do ap while standing up or sitting, but for newbies it's easiest if you do it on your back. Now completely relax. Focus on your body, on you. What you need recognize your spirit, what makes you, you and then force it out of your body. This can be done quickly or slowly. You might want to make it rise or jump out. Whatever works for you.
To do this think of a spot about a yard (meter) away from your body with your eyes closed. Image the spot in your head as clear as you can. Allow your spirit to rise out of your body to that spot. You'll know you've done it because it will look different. First off you can see that spot as though you are right there. Now to move around you simply need think where you want to go and do it. This is done the same way you would move around in the real world.
