Not literally smell. That's why it's in quotations. But really, it's quite amazing they've put in to keep us out. But they can't stop spirit! In more ways than one.

My friends dad worked for the government in area 51. he they are just working on cold fusion, new airplane designs, something top secret, and they are also studying psychic powers. i know the last one for a fact because some dude from the Government tried to take me into custody to "ask me some questions" when he saw me practicing psychokinesis.

If you work or use to work in Area 51 you are still not allowed to give information on what they are doing. Second, it is actually hard to "quit" Area 51. Plus, the people of Area 51 do not have the power to just take someone for practicing somthing as that would be suspicious and against the law even for them. They have restrictions too. ~Jano

I'd be more interested in Area 52. Area 51 is just where they do the research for Area 52.

cool, i read about military doing research on psychic stuff somewhere
and this thing on nationall geography or somechannel like that. showed this special on remote viewing and telepathy. and there was this guy that was a part of that thing. and they actually saw the mid east building a submarine. but they said that the location was far from the ocean. then a few months later, satalite images showed them digging a trench to the sea and later taking out a submarine. so government work on psychics is being done

We've known that Governmental agencies have lead research on Phenomena for decades, it's more the extent to which it's shown. Why are they showing secrets? I have no idea. Maybe with the mainstreaming of "bad" Phenomena, (Who likes the government?), the end result will lid to ostracization of the "good" Phenomenist. The Reason? War.

With a due respect guys (and/or gals), Area 51 and related sites are just regular miltary black op sites. Seriously. There's nothing special, alien, or supernatural about those places. But, if you're truely desperate to see inside those walls, sign up to be an experiement and see if they ship you there. (That's joke, by the way, don't hate me.)
In all honesty, I can't imagine why there'd ever be a reason to even try to AP into Area 51. IF (note the emphasis) they do have some sort of super super secret alien technology, I'd sooner not know. My world is hectic enough with out the American government making contact with extraterresitals.
Oh, and...um... Area 51 is a black op site. Meaning whatever goes on in there, for good or ill, is NOT conveyed to the outside. Nor do they "take people in for questioning." And IF (once again, note the emphasis) they did question people, why on earth would they blow their cover by actually taking you to Area 51? They would be smart enough, I daresay, to take you somewhere else. If they suspected you were a "psychic" or some such, they would also have had their own with them to prevent you from doing anything "fishy." Nothing about your story makes any logical sense. No offense.

Released documents from the government cite the use of psychics in their projects. The head of the Montauk project was a psychic if I recall. Their purpose is unclear though.

If we're getting into government documents and psionic research, we'd certainly have to acknowledge the former project Sunstreak hosted by the CIA and subjunctive agencies. They are plenty of rumors about "government documents that cite use of psychics in their projects" or cite the research on "psychics" or such. But, note the very key word there: [you]rumors[/you].
Again, if Area 51 is "top secret," then any documents about it and anything that happens there is also "top secret." Again, this goes back to the concept of logic.
