Well, comming from a long back-ground of UFO and alien phenomena obsession (That was my bridge into the paranormal. Psionis came afterwords) I would say Area 51 has no meaning what-so-ever. It, like agentzero and others have said in this thread, is just an air-plane developing site. That's primarily all it ever was: Development of air-craft for the government. Now if they ever started building heir own ships based on alien technology it is possible that they would use area 51. But right now it would be illogical.
The base recieves too much attention. And that's not to mention the hundreds of people obsessing about using various satelight programs (Far better and more updated then Google Earth) to look at said 'area 51'. If the government has made extra-terrestrial contact and has by some means begun to mimick their technology, then chances are such expriments would ahve long ago been moved else-where.
And I doubt the wisdom of AP'ing it. The problem with the various OBE abilities is that you have no real way of knowing what existance you are observing. The real one, or a double, altered and created by the thoughts of yourself, or the human collective.
And if the military was smart enough to research Remote Viewing back in the days of the cold war, and supposedly used real remote viewers with some success, then who's to say that they haven't decided, over the 60 or so years since they started, to research other psionic phenoman? They might not shield area 51 because now it does almost nothing, but chances are if they do have something, they'll shield it with one of those shields that make people not pay attention to the thing inside, along with the other type that som people use to kidnof make their psionic signature 'fade' from perception, so that constructs and such can't track them.

another late reply but I don't see any other thread relating to this:
I've read a lot about the fact that what is experienced while projecting can largely be created by the own mind. I've read stories of people projecting to all kind of strange places and seeing weird things. Like having been on a moon base or seeing ufo's in area51, visiting other galaxies with other species and so on So how do you know what you see in a projection is not merely created by your own subconcious? Even meeting higher beings or spirit guides, can they not be created by the infinite imaginary power of your own mind?
I must say that I myself have no experience in astral projection or ethereal projection yet. But I can't get past the doubtfull stories of visiting other galaxies (with no navigation whatsoever how long wouldn't it even take to find another inhabited solar system out of the billions of possibillities..?), this all fuels the idea of imaginary experiences in my opinion.
I'd like to hear your views on this
many greetings

Yes, I've thought this too. What if you're just thinking it? What I do is to have someone draw something or write something. AP, then read it when you're APing. That's how you'll know its not your imagination. or, it's just a lucky guess.

doesn't that fall unther the category of "ethereal projection"?
and maybe a tip to be sure it's not a lucky gues: ask your friend to draw a more complex drawing? I don't think you can lucky guess your friend drew a monkey driving a car on the ocean floor...
