I made a mindscape a few days ago and it was cool. I realized I have been doing this for a long time without even knowing what it was. My mindscape has trees a waterfall a greek ruins kind of building with a fire pit in the center, and a sparing grounds. I love going to my mindscape. Thank you.

I've been using my Mindscape as a place to escape to and reflect on things for a few weeks now, I think I'm pretty good at it. Only, sometimes I find strange objects just randomly lying around while I play and explore. The objects feel familiar to me, yet I now I've never seen them before. I've not picked one up yet, from fear of what it might do. Any advice on this?

They're pretty weird objects to be signs.. I picked up one (a white, shiny mixing bowl ("lol wtf" you say xD)) and turned it over in my hands, looked pretty ordinary, didn't change, nothing around me changed and I don't feel any different. Do you think I just can't control my Mindscape properly yet, so random objects are just springing up while I'm not paying attention to that part of my 'scape?

The mindscape is very interesting. I think that, before I learned another technique to go straight to the astral plane, I was actually managing to project through my mindscape. I thought this was some form of remote-presence or something, but now I know that I was actually astral projecting, through the mindscape!
I'm going to try the thing with drawing a room first and then projecting straight to that area in my mindscape. And tonight, since I haven't managed to AP for a while, I'm going to project through the mindscape to the temple and see if I can join the Jedi Oreder! (Thanks for the idea JK, by the way.)

Edit: I found that a seemingly infinite forest has been my mindscape for quite a long time.

I'm back from my bigass absence, and I have some cool-ish things to share with you about mindescapes. 1: A good way to easily get in and stay in your mindscape for a while without particularly having to actively block outside stimuli, is to lie down someone comfy like your bed, and try to feel (not imagine or visualise, feel) yourself falling away from your body, like down through the bed, but at the same time imagine the place you want to start off in in your mindscape, and fall into if you know what I mean. It's kinda hard to do but with practice it's and easy and effective way to do it. 2: I have reason to beleive that animals have their own and can enter other people's mindscapes. I was in mine the other day, and without my influence at all, one of my dogs came up from behind me, I wasn't even thinking about her. From there, she acted doggish as she usually does, and then went off and did her own thing, and I didn't see her again in my mindscape after that. It's a good explanation as to why my dogs always seem to be sleeping And now, a personal experience: I was wandering about my forest (one of my favourite mindscape locations) when I came across 2 heavily locked boxes. Curious, I tried to open one, and it wouldn't budge at all. It was all super heavy, I couldn't even lift the lock. Both boxes were decaying and rusty, and didn't look that strong, but I still couldn't get them open. I get a terrible, terrible feeling in my stomach whenever I'm near them, so I can only assume they're the parts of my life that I want to keep locked away. Morale of the story: Don't open locked boxes

I don't really know much about planes, I'd be glad if you filled me in on them
