First off, what is the mindscape?
The mindscape. can be simply described as a place in your mind. Its not affected by time, You have absolute freedom and free will. You have 100% control of your surroundings.
OK, so dose everyone have a mindscape?
The simple answer is yes, everyone has one. The only real thing you need is a good imagination, and some patience. A good imagination is not necessary, but it dose help with the making of places in your mind.
Were is the MindScape located?
from what i have seen, it is located in the sub-c and your conciseness self, seeing your mind is made of these two levels of conciseness.
Can anyone enter the MindScape?
Yes, anyone can. You can meet guides, other spirit and beings. Ive had loads of success with others, visiting each others mindscape. Exploring and and even finding the person there two, aware that you there.
Seeing this is possible, one could only speculate that people can interfere with you. Yes this is only to true, however being the base of the conciseness, an individual that is completely unaware, or is starting out. would be hard and easy to influence. Hard because they would know anything and pass it off as a dream or imagination. Easy because being unaware, means they don't have the complexities of those who are aware. the more aware you are. the more complex your mind gets, and the stronger your protection gets also.
Yes, people can dream-walk into your mindscape. yes they can influence you. But from what Ive seen it only influences your visual aspect of dreams, noting more. Is this how guides first contact you? we can only speculate
So, Were do i start?
I first started off, with a simple drawing. for example. i drew a simple training arena. You can add as much detail as you like, or as little as you like. Now close your eyes and visualize the place in your head. Again add as much detail as you wish, its entirely up to you. You have just created your first place, easy wasn't it?
So, what next?
Meditation, if you cant, Then i strongly suggest learning, it will help you learn to focus and find peace with in ones self. So once you have started to meditate, try to go back to what you drew and visualized. Try to picture yourself in this place. Once you have gone to this place, stick around and explore. You can find things that you never 'put' there, or even change how everything looks. Again a good imagination really starts to shine through. I personally have created a place were i meditate in. You can also do the same. I have also been in contact with my spirit guide through one of these meditation sessions. You have free will, you can add or change anything you wont. Its entirely up to you.
Whats so good about a 'MindScape'?
This is very simple to answer. You can meet spirit guides, you can do mental training on most subjects related to psionics, for eg. Telekinesis, Psi-balls, Shielding, Even teleportation. But i must add, It is all in your mind when you do these things, How ever i have found it quite useful to practice things i have learnt, Eg. Sword fighting or for the more adventures, flying. Again i must add that this is all mental training, and there is very little evidence to show that you can improve though this method. However it has helped me to some degree or another.
Alice in wonderland affect
(I don't know if this is directly related to the mindscape, but i thought i would add it in for arguments sake)
Have you ever watched the movie, and seen how Alice keeps tumbling down and down, and cant find her way back? Well this is the same affect. For example, You OBE (Out of Body Experience) to your room, you know what your room looks like because you've lived there for years on end, but you take a look around. And you notice there is 3 doors around your room, when in fact You know there is only one. You know the door on the left of you, is the Right one. If you take this door, you can almost be certain to end up in you hallway. At this point in time you can almost be 100% safe that you have passed this Affect. On the other hand, you chose another door. This door can lead you almost anywhere. It could lead you to another room, or outside the pup for eg. At this point you are Alice and your falling down the rabbit hole, and you can never find you way back. How ever, Ive personally haven't experienced this yet, nor do i wont to have the privilege to-do so. The only way that i have read, is to return to your body (wake up) and then try to OBE again.
Astral Projection and Mindscape
The astral is an amazing place. But i wont go into how to get there, that is left up-to you. How the mind can affect you being in the astral is simple. Lets say you Astrally projected to the pyramids, and everything was going really good, but you didn't like the way how the houses were looking or you saw something really out of place. like a flying sorcer..In the first example you changed the look of the house, like the roof was all pointed and you wanted it flat. You have now left the astral and headed start into the mindscape. Again, if something dose look really out of place like in example 2. You have surly entered the mindscape. What your asking, HOW? To be forthcoming as i can, what you see in the astral, is something you cant change. I should note you can do what you wont. for eg fly or change into a creature (more on this later) But once you 'change' what you see, you can almost be certain that you drifted off into your mindscape. The good news is that you can tell the difference between the two. This however can only be done with experience, and the understanding that the two are Very different. I can only suggest practicing, and finding out for yourself. It is also helpfully that if you can have someone else (a friend) who also went to the same place with you to confirm things. I also strongly suggest that, immediately following an OBE/AP/LD that you try to recall all the events and 'imprint' them in to your mind. This is something unrelated to this article, so you will have to find other information else-were
Lucid Dreaming.
LD, which it is commonly referred to, is the knowledge that you are dreaming and/or you have control what your dreaming. This is only a 'theory', But one could argue on many levels. I believe that when someone is LD has entered the mindscape. lets take an example. Your dreaming along and you reallies that your dreaming, and you wont to change something. (sounds familiar, doesn't it ) my understanding, is the dream continues along and once you are aware it will still continue, and once you start to 'change' things it also flows from your dreaming state to your conciseness state. Wondering how this has to do with LD and mindscape? Try and think, when i change things around, or deiced not do to anything, one must ask him/her self, where am i dreaming this? where is all this happening? The obvious answer is in your mind. I'm simply putting mouth the paper and explaining the place in your mind, Can be called the mindscape. I'm sure there are plenty of other people calling it other things. but to me, this is the simplest and most appropriate word to call it.
How to change into a creature
Now, Ive had 'ALOT' of people dismissing this, and claiming i fell into a LD. I even thought i did, until i did it again. and again. and my friend kept telling me about it. Ive also shown another friend who i sometimes AP with, tell me they saw me as a wolf. (Its always a good idea, to have someone confirm things. because like i just said, people wont believe you.) OK so how did i actually do it? It all starts with the mindscape. I practiced morphing into a wolf, over and over. The trick i found is, you have to ask yourself, what dose this animal represent to me, if i could explain the animal how would it look. etc. When i morph into a wolf, i just don't go. i wont to be a wolf, and poof there I am. I feel myself changing, i think about what i wont to look like, I go though everybody part and change each one, to the shape of a wolf. I then think about color etc. until i feel complete. The more i have practiced this, the faster i have gotten. To the curious mind. What do i look like? I'm Grey/Dark-Grey, i have think long shaggy fir, and i stand about the height of a human. To me this is how i look, so i simply 'project' myself as this. My color it seems to change depending on my mood and my intentions.. it seems i don't have total control of this. But it doesn't bother me. As long as i look like what i wont, I'm happy. OK so now what? Well i simply astral project, to the place i would like to go, and thats it. You ask how do you AP, when a creature? All i can say is, when you have been to a place many times you don't really need to think twice about going there. This all falls under experience.
Conclusion
This is what i have leaned I'm my progress, and I'm no master at anything. I'm simply putting MY views across. From my personal experience, Constructive Criticism, is more than welcome. But by no means, go out of your way to say that this is wrong or that I'm making it all up. I don't feel compelled to 'explain' everything again. If you are having trouble understanding or reading the article. Thats constructive criticism. And that is OK, by all means tell me and i will fix it asap.I would also like to credit 'Yoshi', he was the one who first told me about this 'MindScape' "you must find out what the mindscape is for yourself, no one can show you" he was only to true.
Thank you for reading my article and i hope to write up another one when the opportunity arises.
