I am not sure if I will describe this really well, but I'll try. There are several different types of planes of existence. Currently, we are all on earth and living, and that is a plane all in its self. The astral plane is just another plane of existence where the astral self can go from the living when you astral project. I guess you can say the astral plane has a different vibration than the one where our bodies exist, but that is just what I think.

can only guess on "what" the astral plane is. some thing its the "spirit world", probably due to the spirits! i know some who think its like the physical plane except.. not physical! pretty much just another plane of existence. A place of enlightenment, and knowledge, and wisdom.
but yeah... Physical, Astral, and Mental.
actually I think the astral plane might have something to do with our dreams. (actually i'm very sure of it)

Wouldn't the astral plane be another respresentation of the entire universe, with the physical plane being one, with it's own qualities, while the astral is another with it's own qualities, IE: the "dimension" or that "universe" in itself, has it's own laws and creative properties.
All have laws, just like we do here, yet they vary.

Precicely.
The astral plane has billions of sub-planes, each with their own slightly different set of rules.
Especially when considering the link to string theory, the vibrational level idea seems quite plausable. Material-lowest, Astral-mid, mental-highest. This would also coencide with some other stuff I've learned.

Yea there are many planes even planes where your thoughts come to life and live. Where you can have great adventures just for the fun of it. Astral isnt only for seriousness where its not to be taken as a joke as well. But whats wrong with a little fun here and there sometimes eh?  GodBless |
