Okay, I said I was going to post a way to have an astral projection, and here it goes. (Note all information is from John Magnus's book Astral Projection and the nature of reality'
Setting up intent:
1) Tell your family not to wake you up in the morning. If they ask why, either say "I'm going to be meditating" or "I need to catch up on my sleep" (I prefer option 2)
2)be sure to turn off any alarm clocks you have-You do not want to wake up to abruptly,
3)Before getting into bed, write down all the things you have to do tomorrow.Put the list down and forget about everything you just wrote. The list will be there tomorrow, so it's not necessary to keep it all in your mind,
4) In your mind's eyes, imagine a deep well before you. Throw all your problems, worries, and anxiety's in the well. They can also wait until tomorrow, and they will just get in your way.
5)Tell yourself: I have worked hard for this, I deserve an Astral Projection.
6)Then state: I will lie down tonight and I will not get up until I have projected!!! SAY IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
7)Get in bed like you always do, but do not use a blanket or be in the bed with someone, as this could cause you to awake from your projection.
8)Close your eyes and relax, let it sink.
9)Think clearly: I intend to temporarily leave my body. Visualize an open field, let the visualized person spread his/her arms and yell at the top of his voice: I intend to temporarily leave my body! Intent is what decides what happens in the nonphysical realm.
This is the end of Setting up Intent.
Visualization and Affirmation
1)Visualize that you are standing in an open meadow in a forest.Visualize as intensely as you can (intensely meaning with as much detail).
2)Visualize the sun's rays hitting your feet. The warmth relaxes you.
3)Affirm to yourself repeatedly: Tonight I will have an Astral Projection. The person in the meadow affirms this, not the person in bed. Continue visualizing the meadow (until you fall asleep.)
4)The warmth from your feet spreads through your whole body, relaxing every muscle.
5)A breeze sweeps over the meadow, the breeze caresses your face, feel the breeze.
6) Watch as the grass sways as the breeze passes over.
7) Smell the distinct smell of the pine trees surrounding the meadow.
(Don't forget to tell yourself: Tonight I will have an Astral Projection)
8)Visualize walking around the meadow, touching, smelling all that comes in your path.
9) Continue visualizing the meadow until you fall asleep.
10)If you wake up, restart the visualization and tell yourself: Tonight I will Astral Project.
End of Visualization and Affirmation
The Exit!
1) As dawn approaches, you may wake up in a fuzzy, floating state of mind.It may feel unsynchronized with the body, as if the mind can't gain control.Re-enter the visualization and allow yourself to almost fall asleep, the floating sensation should increase.
2)You will receive a distinct signal from the body that says it is alright for you to exit.
3) Apply the roll out technique, push your Right shoulder forward to get momentum to roll out. Since the physical body is already asleep, your semi physical shoulder moves instead. Your awareness will shift to the rolling body rather than the one asleep.
4)Have a nice astral projection (maybe)
End of the Exit
If you need any more clarification of how to do this exercise, or do not understand the instructions, Please post a question. I will post More techniques and some exercises to astral project later this week.
