On several occasions, I fall asleep in a chair or something, then I have one of those little minidreams, and i have a dream, and something hits or pushes me back, and then all of a sudden I jump. I hate when that happens! It scares me for a second, and I can't think about what happened until about 2 minutes later. I know my astral body snaps back into place quickly, but it's annoying!!

yeah that happens to me. i cant ap yet.
when i lieing in the couch watching tv and playing in my hair (i like my hair) i get reall comfortable. im usually a little bit sleepy beacuse my sleeping. so when i get comfortable like this i begin to drif off. then im some where between sleeping, daydreaming and watching the tv (my eyes are closed but i can still hear the tv) then sometime its like im actually watching the tv, or if theres a noise, is like im right there seeing whats happening. then when i realise that im having a dream, my heart start to race and i wake up. and it feels like im frightened. then i try to drif off again.

Cool, I sometimes seem to be drifting into the air, but that might come from being worn out from playing basketball or something like that, so I don't know.

What he means is that he wakes up because of a sound, your astral body snaps back into place quickly. It's just so annoying some times! it scares the heck out of me.

I was always under the impression that the falling sensation was just a sign you were getting ready to leave the body. But yes, every time this happens, I jerk a leg or arm really fast.

I think it's my body trying to leave itself while i'm still semi-awake, and when it finds out it's not, it tries to wake myself up so it doesn't.

It's happened to me a lot lately =( It feels wierd too, but does that mean i was unconciously Aping? Or just that I was ABOUT to ap but my sub concious was scared to leave itself in another body (astral) and when I was gonna leave, I snapped back into my regular body, thus wakeing me up...
