[shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300]last night i was trying to ap, so i was relaxing and i started to visualize (like we're suppose to) and i went numb. is that suppose to happen? just wondering, cause it felt wierd.[/glow][/shadow]

Yes, Often you do start feeling numb. I Vibrate like crazy, it feels like i'm about to be thrown through a wall. : O

Yes, that's normal. It's called Sleep Paralysis if you can't move your body. That's when your brain and muscles stop talking to each other, so that when you dream, you don't do what you do in your dream. It's like a failsafe measure. Sometimes it feels like that, but I've never APed so, some say that when you're about to go out, it feels like a vacuum is sucking you out. I've had that feeling, but I guess my Sub-Consiousness wasn't ready. It will take time, but you will get it. Keep trying!

Your thinking different Cu, he said numb not that he couldn't move. And that is normal, and not sleep paralisis.

I know, I thought he was implying that, and i was stating that that is what sleep paralysis is. Also, psyco, you can induce sleep paralysis and it helps with Astral Projecting and OOBEs. Just wanted you to know.

I think Cu was right about sleep paralysis, wouldn't you feel numb if your brain stoped talking to your muscles?
