ok im writing from my psp cause im grounded...
so if i wanted to go to someones house outside of my body and see what there doing in live physical time... would i ap or obe? and do you have to fall half asleep to obe? and if your asleep while obeing how do you stop the obe?
i have been experimenting by laying down and relaxing and feeling my astral body. i tried lifting my hands but i got this overwhelming tingling so i think i did it wrong. i tried levitating it also but it hurt kinda from the tingling

seeing your friend is called ethric projection. its an exact copy of the physical world. the right state of mind for this is the hypnogogic state. think i spelled it wrong. its the state in between wake and sleep

Like Shini said, you're talking EP. Both EP and AP are OBEs, but in order to see physical people/objects, you need to be on the etheric. Also, you may not be able to find your friends (not always common, but it can happen), and some objects may not be there, or you might see stuff that wouldn't ordinarily be there in the physical.

relaxing the body until it falls asleep. then trick your subconcious that your falling asleep by not thinking. once you start getting hallucinations your there. then you have to will your body out.
