Well as some may know I've tried various methods of Astral Projection from various sites, and attempted my own based on those. Ironically when I seemed to Astral Project fully, it wasn't in my bed, making everything perfect, listening to music, nor void meditation for a few hours, but going on the bus. Sure my bus was a quiet 15 minute ride, since there's only 11 people max on our bus, but it was still a noisier, and less 'perfect' position then most think nesciccary. Of course. Having french as the last class that day, and being slightly tired I ended up closing my eyes and 'daydreaming'. I ended up in the place which I now know as my mindscape. It kept on appearing in previous dreams, and it was the most focused dream I've had, with the benefit that I was aware of every single moment of it. Lucid dream? Maybe, although now I definitely see it as a nice way to Astral Project.
As far as I've flown there it's been an infinite long forest. The place where I started out, being on a plateau. When I was looking to travel to somewhere different, before I got into metaphysics, some other things appeared which I cannot recall at the moment.
The point being that you do not need to perfect the techniques shown on articles, or what people tell you, it doesn't need to be perfect at all. You just need to do what works. Sure it sounds cliche but so many people keep asking questions about how they can do something, am I doing it wrong, etc. The articles are not meant to tell you exactly what to do. Just find what works. If it seems to have the results that they showed, even close, good job. You've done it.
