i got an idea, what if you develop talking to your subconsious and what not, you open up the book and dont read just look through the words. then you can just ask your subconsious what you need to know.

You can, it is called power reading. I don't want to write exactly how but I use it. It makes readin faster. You have even classes for that. I know that for a fact beacose I can read book with 200 pages in 20minutes.

1 page every six seconds lets look at the calculations
i read 375 words per minute and i was at the exceptionally high end of the scale so lets go with 250 so thats about 1 and a half pages per minute so when you look at the fact that your subconcious reads up to 100x faster then you normally can soooo when you look at it like that then what he said is logical, if he can actually get the info from his subconcious then hes good

you read faster if you dont call every word in your head. just look at the word and move on, your subconsious will pick it up and process it faster than you can think of saying it.
its possible to read with your eyes closed. when you extend your awarness you can go around blindfolded and not hurt your self. so opening your awarness on a book might let your know everything in it
